When medetation just won't do... When I am too mad to focus on my writings... When I feel near tears and my eyes are burning so I cannot read... And when taking a hot bubble bath will lull me to sleep (and I cannot afford to do that now)... What is there left to do??????

Post here for a while.
Talk to your friends.
Listen to some music.

Just something mindless until the feeling passes.

:)

Drown in it like I do every day! Errr...the stress and emotions I mean, not the tub....

One stress relieving tool for me is sex. My favorite way is with a partner, but solo works too. Takes the edge of the stress, for me at least.

Only so much 'alone' time you can handle though without becoming overly frustrated.

**Smiles a wicked smile**

Well, I might be convinced to make a road trip, hehehehehehe

i usually go running by myself. it makes me feel good and gives me a times to figure some things out.

Talk to friends? Don't seem to have any online. At least not at this hour. Ren done up and left me.

Have sex? My Boyfriend is 7ish hours away from me. He won't be here for another two weeks yet. By that time, it will have been 2 whole months since I've had sex. And, like Mistress, too much alone time there can be frustrating.

What about mindless posting?
You up for something new and different? That works.

Mindless posting is all I've been doing lately. I think I may be going to bed soon. I've been awake for 26 hours now.

Will this cheer you up? An outrageous insult that I just came across...

"Madame, ist thou donning space underwear? For thine ass doth lie beyond the physical boundaries of this world!"

Not aimed at anyone here of course! :D

Go to sleep. You're tired you'll feel better or at least be better able to cope.

If that doesn't work, get mad. I'll start a fight with ya. Works for me.

Exercise, but first I think you need some sleep, but then exercise. Try something not too intense or draining like walking, bicycling, light jogging. Going to something where my mind has to engage itself in another event often works for me, like a movie, play, lecture at a local college, sporting event...something.

I agree. I used to have a step-aerobics tape--30 mins a day. It's amazing how much better it will make you feel. Gotta start doing that again...

sleep first

A tortured and tired mind is no good :(

Do you have a favorite place that brings you peace? I use the beach for my sanctuary. But I know other people have places where they can go when they feel stressed and the mind won't quiet down.

I like to write, but sometimes I can't concentrate enough and it just becomes frustrating. When I am feeling depressed, I have sometimes found that writing down my blessings brings an element of reality to a downward spiral. Other times, putting into words what is bothering me, seeing it in black and white, makes me realize that my mind is making a bigger deal out of things than what they really are.

I can also lose myself in a book. The time flies and I am in another world.

Sometimes just a long drive in the car helps.

Feel better - there seems to be a wind of depression blowing lately.

I don't have stress.
Really.
Most emotions are a choice, all reactions are a choice; you're angry because you wish to be.

Just sit there and think about why you're not happy, then realize that not being happy is a waste of time and move on.

Don't worry..
Be Never.
