Copyrighted images: Discussion

One more thing;

On this forum, at least, I've noticed that images get very, very few downloads. Like, three or four to six or seven usually. Obviously most of us don't really care whether they are there or not.

Not exactly. If I take a photograph of the happy crowd at a (non-professional) football match, that is my copyright, not that of the crowd members. Just because it is a picture of you does not mean that you own the copyright.


Good point. I would suggest using caution though.
I know someone might not be pleased to find a photo of themself, no matter how casual or anonymous, on a porn site.

I think if we follow the rules and use our best judgement, there should be no more issues.

If you feel I have removed a photo without just cause, feel free to let me or Laurel know.

And yes, Chicklet, what the hell is up with the "no caps" rule in Scrabble? :D
