Couple getting ready for their first bdsm club visit

My idea centres around the building up. The nervousness for the previously vanilla couple. The purchases along the way. I think either they are wanting to spice up their lives... or have been invited my a convincing third party. That third party may guide their preparation either in person or via photos and video. Im an ok writer (not on this site) but would prefer a writing buddy to get a second tone of voice. Thoughts?

The kids don't actually have to move out, they're old enough to be doing their own things and the couple are trying to find things that interest them. They try things like bird watching, hiking and the like, but while fun, they want something more. The wife or husband stop at an adult novelty store to surprise the other and see an add for a BDSM group. Both have talked about it and done a few very small things like spanking in the past, but now getting into it might be fun. They look up the group and they have a newbies get together coming up soon, so they say, "why not"...
