Rouge raised an eyebrow at her words, looking over his shoulder at her mention of all the metal. He held up his hand, motioning her to follow closer. As they ascended the boarding ramp, the scenery changed. In place of the metal corridors, there were rich, almost luxuriant tapestries, hardwood walls, thick, cushiony carpeted floors, and beautiful plantlife in the shape of benches, tables, and many other things. There were also holographic paintings on the walls, and in the lounge in the center of the main deck, a fountain of crystals, around which were tables, a bar counter, and stools.
He motioned to a door just off the main deck, and smiled. "That's the Presidential Suite, for lack of a better term. There's a cushy bed, a full sized shower, a few other things. I had it furnished for VIPs, so most of the furniture is hardwood, bolted to the floor, and rather heavy. But I don't think you'd have much you need to write or anything, right? Anyways, I'll be in the Captain's cabin. The one marked C, down the hall. If you need anything, just push the button beside it and it rings in the room."
He smiled, then kept going down the hall. At the aforementioned door, he stepped through, moving through the spacious cabin to a bed, and pulled on a pair of boxers, before climbing in under the sheets to get some rest himself. He told the computer to keep an eye out for anything that could potentially be dangerous, and set an alarm as well.
