I like routine, but like everything else, I like it to be MY routine. When someone upsets it I get very annoyed, but I reserve the right not to like having other people force their habits on me.

I'm selfish like that

I like to get up in the morning and be able to do my thing, alone. When the BF is home, he's annoyingly cheerful in the morning and won't leave me alone until I'm caffeinated.

I like work to be completely by the daily book, no suprises. Surprises annoy me.

But other than that, I'm pretty flexible.

omg! I do have a routine and I said I never would. Gasp!
I get up, make tea, write for awhile until the kiddo gets up and then get his breakfast. Then, I water my plants, drink more tea, and write some more until lunch.
I'm freakin boring, if anyone asks.

Daily routine? What in the world is that?
Surprisingly I do have a couple of routines/habits that I do every day. I wake up at 0500 every morning, it doesn't matter if it's my day off or not. As soon as my feet hit the floor I'm hitting the shower, then downstairs for some Coffee. If it's a work day then hey ho it's off to work we go. If it's a day off I go and sit outside and watch the sun rise while drinking a second/third cup of coffee then it's back to bed for the cat.

At roughly 1600 every day I tend to take a short, ( 1/2 hour) snooze with the wife. Just before snoozing out I have this habit of grabbing her and tickling her.

Sometime between 2000 and 2200 I tend to log on, check the E-Mail, news, and the boards. Then it's back to bed to get ready for another round.

As for routines in work? Hah, I work in a hospital. I try to get a cup of coffee into me as I walk in the door, and try to get first round vitals done before 0800, but it rarely happens that way.

Oh yeah I forgot, on days off my only routine is there is no chance of having a routine, I never know what I'm going to be doing.

I'm chronically oppossed to change.

The GF needs to give me two weeks notice before cutting her hair or I'm likely not to talk to her for a month.

From that extrapolate, how much of a creature of habit I am.
