so on the topic of verification, to me if someone is interesting on PM they go to the "other apps" department and chat on skype or kik or hangouts or tumbler or whatever people are using nowadays, if they are still interesting within that sort of space they become phone/audio friends, at that point verification is relatively easy...but if they aren't close friends to begin with why would verification even matter?

I invite PMs from anyone...if they are interesting I keep chatting, if they are not, I don't. nothing to do with looks or verifications or anything, either we get along or we don't.

2. I am approached by a person who claims they ARE female, having presumably read my ad and understood my requirement.

3. This person, having been reminded of the requirement and asked very politely for the necessary verification, a process which might reasonably be expected to involve negligible cost, effort and perhaps two minutes of their time, refuses or disappears in a cloud of dust.

This is a phenomenon which has now happened - I have checked - some seventeen times since I first put up the ad. Of these, I am in some small doubt about one person only... and even they have performed the well-known disappearing act.

You may wish, for your own reasons no doubt, to invent excuses for what these people do or to try to somehow find a valid reason for their behaviour... but I'm afraid I prefer to go with the obvious conclusion.

I am becoming increasingly of the opinion that there are almost NO females visiting Literotica, at least none who might be interested in the kind of correspondence I offer. By contrast, I suspect that the number of 'Johns in frocks' considerably outdistances that of actual females on the site.

You haven't have had SEVENTEEN guys hitting on you - you've had maybe ONE guy hitting on you, and 16 actual women who don't want to be required to produce a tit shot on demand for someone they barely know.

They then proceeded to represent themselves as female. .. up to the point when they were asked, very politely, for verification. Got it now? I did not pester anyone. Nobody was forced at gunpoint to answer my ad - which was very clear in its requirements.

I repeat: there are almost no authentic females visiting this site. It is wall-to-wall males talking to other males, often in an unsuspecting context. Now run along and take your less than considerable powers of basic logic with you.

Not sure who 'us all' is? I seem to have plenty of various interactions with a whole range of people on here, both in my threads and elsewhere, which have sometimes led to friendships and every now and then to sexual relationships. That doesn't seem to be going so well for you ... but you seem determined to just keep doing the same thing.
You are complaining about lack of success - you can't seem to attract 'real' women, which would be the definition of success for you.

Hilarious by the way to see the ridiculous postings since I was last here. Fakes actually going to the length of inventing AEs specifically for the purpose of coming on my thread to back up their losing position. Can you believe that? What kind of pitifully sad, grey lives do these creatures lead? Anyway, that's all history now. They and their little inventions will have to find new victims as I no longer have any need of this thread.

It's taken some effort but after allowing a little time to be sure that things are going the way I wanted, I'm here to say that it definitely IS possible to find a genuinely female, genuinely interested-in-erotica correspondent who fits the very modest requirements I outlined in my original posting on this thread. I'm really very happy with the way things have turned out.

That's the good news.

But here's the not so good news: yes, it's possible... but NOT ON LITEROTICA.

I've found my partner in crime on a simple pen pals site - you know, just a run of the mill online posting board where people announce their wish to find a correspondent and outline what they're looking for.

Consider for a moment what that implies about this allegedly 'dedicated-to-erotica' but actually godforsaken place where almost every 'female' profile conceals a fred-in-a-frock. It's actually easier to find someone suitable... on a non-specialist website.
