IMO, using ‘cunt’ instead of ‘pussy’ in a story context is the equivalent to using ’Cock’ instead of ‘Dick’. In other words, I use ’Cunt’ for the nasty kinda fucking and not for Romances.

I use a similar rule of thumb in RL and only use it with my S.O in private, admittedly it does turn her on, but I agree with Matthew82...

I tend to say pussy much more often, even that took a while to get comfortable with. I have never been a fan of the word cunt when used too broadly. It can be sexy at just the right time, but too much just sounds crass. Like in the example earlier, most men dont pull out the word cock until they are getting good and dirty, it's usually dick or something else playful.

"Cunt" sounds harsh; it's a harsh-sounding word with or without the connotations behind it. Very impulsive too. Sounds like something you'd bark out.
