Curious Questions: what do you think? Worst and best

Best per Emily’s ranking-

Most accomplished technically: Beijing Streakers ; Also the most rounded. I discussed it more on the previous page.

Hardest to write and thus most proud of: The Rendezvous series. I’ll just link Chapter 1, but there are four more and it’s meant to be read as a whole. Four young actresses making a film in need of sexual intimacy. Each has their own way of facing the issue. Each has an array of obstacles they need to surpass. They end up lifelong friends.

Means the most to me: Fear, Lust, and Vanity for starting it all. 3 person femslash, photo shoot, car chase, bisexual awakening in a hotel suite. Enough said.

Most fun: Two Cats in Heat. I love shaking up people’s preconceptions. This story was the first serious time I did that.

Not sure why only one link appears as such in here, hope people don’t mind cut and pasting the others.

EM, dreams have no real beginning and for sure no ending, happy or otherwise, unless you fall to your death or something.
Worst - I forgot worst…

Probably Hood & Hole. Which is an out of character story based on a recurring dream / nightmare (I gave the story a HEA which isn’t how my dream ends).

I was not particularly pleased with my recent Halloween story, Watchers. It was a bit of a rush job and, while I don't think it's bad, it needed to be developed more than it was.

I think Queen of the Roller Derby is the best thing I've written. It scored fantastically well (4.91 at this point) but has been sadly under viewed.

So you should go read it.

It’s on my (rather lengthy) list.

Boner Check is by far my worst. Normally, I work on stories for months on end, sending them out to beta readers and editors. This one went from concept to submitted stroy in 24 hours. I didn't flesh it out very well and it doesn't read as smooth. It is my lowest rated and has earned that distinction.

My best? My answer here will probably change week to week, but right now, I feel the best about Going Back to School It's not my favorite one, but I think it is the best overall story when it comes to concept and execution.

I am tempted to refer to entire series rather than individual stories, in which case I feel that my second work was not as strong as the first. But if I were to refer to individual chapters, chapter 8 of DE I believe to be so far the best I put out and chapter one of JD was a bit of a fumble.

My least favourite is probably Lust Demon's Orgy. It's my second most viewed story, hovering around the red H mark, but I just banged it out to submit for the Halloween contest and I'm not particularly attached to it.

My best, or at least best crafted, is The Countesses of Tannensdal. I took the time to create the setting, the characters, the plot, going back again and again to polish it smooth. I made an effort to describe the sex scenes in the same formal 19th century style as I used for the rest of the story. I think it turned out quite well.

My favourite, or favourites plural, are the separate instalments of The Rivals. I just enjoy writing about Avilia and Sligh: her leaping-without-looking attitude, his meticulous and scholarly nature, and their mutual attraction despite it all. Of the four, I probably like the first best. No, the fourth. Wait, no, the second and third. Or perhaps the first after all. (I don't like the fifth at this time, because it's been stuck in development hell for months.)
