So all of you guys in this thread, I'd love for you to help me out here.....

I've been back on the dating scene since the end of June. I've tried the online sites, (free ones as of now as I don't have money for the paid ones), and sent many messages to guys, but I never hear back. I don't reply to every single ad, but those who I feel I might connect with..mutual interests and such. I've been open and honest about myself, and get no replies.

I've tried flirting a bit with some customers at work, but nothing more comes of it. I'm not into the bar scene, etc.

So now I'm asking you guys for advice:

First: If you post an ad online do you get a ton of responses, etc? If a woman does reply what would catch your eye so to speak.

Second: Where do you guys go to meet women? (Please don't answer the bar...)

Third: Do you know of any dating websites that are geared for BBW's?

I've done the online dating thing for awhile now. The site I like is pof.com (plenty of fish.com) it's free with an option to pay for a couple extra features that most don't pay for and messaging isn't one you pay for. I've had a reasonable amount of "luck" on that site. What catches my eye is if the women seem to actually be there looking. It's amazing how many are actually married or in a relationship and are looking just to validate themselves in their own minds. I'm sure men do as well so if you don't get responses then you can figure some of them are due to that. I always look for the women who ask questions about me, likes, goals, wants,etc. If I get those questions I respond back and ask questions myself about them. Once that area is broken and there seems to be interest then I will move on to the "would you like to meet" and go from there.

2nd: I don't like the bar scene much either but will go once in awhile if there is live music and dancing that sort of thing. I'm not shy so I am willing to talk to a woman in the grocery store or wherever I happen to be at. Also if I go out to lunch and see a woman I might be attracted to and sit near enough to her to strike up a conversation across the aisle. Things like that.

3rd: I know there are sites geared to BBW's but they are pay sites. POF.com does have an area in the profile section for body types and a lot of men are interested (including me) in them. My best suggestion is to just be yourself in your responses but ask questions so they have something to answer.

step 1 pick up phone
step 2 dial number to fencing company
step 3 when they answer say I need you to come repair my fence. When can you be here?
step 4 hang up phone.

I wish I were closer too! For some reason I had thought I had read this book, but realized I hadn't. Thought it might be a good read as I tend to get lost in her books and not want to put them down.

Sorry you are not having luck right now in the dating department. It is funny ho this site brings so many people together who enjoy each other and yet we are still to far apart to realy be together. I know there are a bunch right now who are smacking thier forheads with thier hands because they are not by you to take you out for dinner and drinks and show you that you are beautiful and very worthy of having a nice person to spend time with. And many of them would love to fall into that little fantasy about being the help around the house to fix fences and chase cows for you, and then spend the cold nights by a fire.

Lord knows this guy sure as hell would!
