OOC: Looking for an older dominant guy to play the role of my daddy. I need someone who can be persuasive and isn't afraid to get a little rough, but can be gentle and caring as well.

Name: Hannah
Nickname: Annie
Age: Eighteen
Height: 5"2
Looks: Long curly dark brown/almost black hair, large brown eyes, 32B, slim and petite

I had grown up most of my life living with just my dad, my mother left when I was just a baby, so naturally you and I were really close. Growing up you were always there, supporting me, looking after me, but you were very strict in the rules that you set. Two years ago, you got sent to prison (you can decide what for) and luckily for me, I had just turned sixteen, meaning that I could stay living in our house on my own, today is your release date.

IC: I sit anxiously on the sofa, unsure of what I should be doing, I know that you are coming home today and of course I am excited, but at the same time incredibaly nervous, I haven't seen you in over two years, because for some reason you would not let me visit.

I hear the click of the front door and know it must be you, instantly I rise from the sofa, smoothing down the creases of me dress, wanting to look my best for you, and wait nervously. I watch as the door slowly creeps open and I take a deep breath, trying to calm myself, as I think over what I am going to say to you.

Name: Mickey
Age: 40
Height: 6' 1"
Looks: Dark hair and eyes, a weathered but ruggedly handsome face. His body is strong; not ripped, but he has the look of a man who knows about physical labour and isn't afraid of it.

IC:

They say you only do two days in prison - the day you go in and the day you come out. But I know that's bullshit. I did every day of those two years. An aggravated assault charge; I'd have done longer if it hadn't been for a plea bargain and good behaviour. I know only one thing, now that I'm out of prison: I'm never going back.

So here I am, in the same shirt and jeans I wore two years ago, standing at the front door of my home. I steel myself; you will be here.

What do I say to you? I haven't seen you in two years, though it wasn't for lack of you trying. But I couldn't have you see me in that place. Call it pride or concern, but I made sure you stayed away.

My key easily slides into the lock and I slowly open the door. It swings gently before me until I'm standing just inside, the living room in front of me. There's a vision standing there; an angelic beauty. I stare in silence for a moment, my bag dropping to the floor. It's the first woman I've seen in two years who wasn't some ball busting CO. And that's when I realise it's you, my daughter, grown into the full bloom of womanhood, as beautiful as your mother was at that age. My heart swells and I smile softly as I say, "Hi honey."

My foot taps nervously on the floor; a habit I had picked up.. it helped to calm me down. I watch as the door handle twists before slowly opening. He was here. For the first time in two years I was seeing him again, and he looks exactly the same as I remember him. Admittedly he had aged in the last years, but he was still my daddy.

I look at you for a minute a little unsure what to do, before finally I am unable to take it anymore. I run across the room towards you, flinging my around you neck. "I missed you so much daddy" I whisper quietly. As I hug myself tighter to you, loving the way that it feels to be so close again..

"I'm glad you're home, what was it like? Do you want me to get you anything?" I ask all my questions coming out at once.

Surprised at first by your sudden embrace, I quickly return it, wrapping my arms tightly around you. After so long apart from you, it feels good to feel your love and kindness.

I can't help but laugh at the flood of questions; you may be grown up but you're still buzzing with energy.

"Right now, all I wanna do is look at you," I say, gently cupping your face in my hands. I kiss your forehead and hug you again, sighing as I say, "I missed you so much." Relaxing my hold, I step back and grin.

"But I guess what I should really do is put on some new clothes," I say. "I don't think these have been washed in two years!"

I blush as I feel your eyes on me; I wasn't sure why I was even blushing in the first place. Smiling up at you softly "okay you go get dressed, and then come down for dinner.. I made you favorite" I say.

In truth for the past couple of weeks, I have been doing everything to make you as happy and comfortable as I can, I'd washed and made your bed, and all of your clothes seeing as though they hadn't been worn in years and now I was making dinner.

I lean up kissing your cheek lightly, before turning and heading back to the kitchen, grabbing two plates out of the cupboard as I plate up dinner, putting it in the oven to keep warm as I wait.

I smile as you kiss my cheek. I had been worried that you would be nervous around me, considering what I'd done and how long I'd been away. So it's a relief to see you just happy to have me home and I can't pretend I'm not overjoyed to be free again.

I head upstairs, quickly reaching my room, and pull off my moth-eaten clothes. I throw them into the laundry basket, but I really just want to throw them in the trash. They're just another little reminder of my time inside, a time I'm all too ready to forget.

I grab another pair of jeans and a shirt and they seem fine until I realise everything feels a little tighter than I remember. Had I gained weight? I stare at myself in the mirror, clad only in my briefs, and examine my body.

I'd gained weight, all right, but it wasn't fat. In prison, there isn't much to do but read and work out, both of which I'd spent plenty of time doing. It had left me a little thicker all over, which was great for my self-confidence but a pain in the ass when all my clothes are too damn small.

I rummage through the clothes I have and eventually find an old t-shirt and a pair of shorts that, while not perfect, are better than nothing. I look at myself in the mirror again and groan; I don't know if I look like a free man but I do look ready for the Pride parade. I make my way back downstairs, stepping into the kitchen.

"Mmm, something smells good!," I say, trying not to look too embarrassed in my get-up. "Gonna be good to eat something that isn't on a metal plate."

I glance up at you as I hear your voice and I can't help but giggle at the sight of you, turns out I was right before.. you had filled out a lot in your time away and it looked good on you.

I smile at you as I take the food out of the oven "I thought you'd appreciate it if I made an effort with dinner, I doubt food... there was that good" I say with a small shrug

Walking to the table I place your plate down and then my own oppisite you, throwing the teatowel to the side, grabbing two beers, one for me and one for you; I had gotton used to having a drink with my tea.

I take a seat at the table and smile.

"There were plenty of times you couldn't call it food," I say with a grin. I take the beer from you and add, "Here's another thing I miss!"

I raise my eyebrows as you place the second bottle beside your plate.

"Enjoy a drink, do you?," I say. "I guess you really are all grown up."

It felt so strange talking to you about prison.. I had never really asked the details of why you went in the first place, I just knew the basics. Part of me didn't even want to know the full story, you were my father, so in my eyes you can do no wrong.

I glance down at the beer, glancing up at you trying to work out your reaction, you don't seem mad so I take that as a positive sign and smile up at you "I'm eighteen now daddy, I think I'm old enough to have a drink" I say with a shrug.

I nod my head slowly and say, "You're right. You're an adult now and you're free to have a drink with your dinner." It brings home the hard, simple fact that I've missed a significant part of your life, your final transition from childhood to adulthood. I try to hide my sadness and smile.

"Well, if you're old enough to drink, you're old enough to share a toast with me," I say, raising my bottle. "Here's to the future." I tip my head back and drink a big mouthful, sighing contentedly.

I smile and nod along with you, I watch as you take a swig of the beer and instantly I know I made the right choice by getting you one... but I was still curious about what it was like, and why you wouldn't let me visit you while you were in prison.

I look down at my food, pushing it around on my plate with my fork as I struggle to come up with an explanation for you.

"So I was wondering.. what was it like?" I ask finally, "and why didn't you let me come see you" I ask a tiny bit of hurt creeping into my words.

I don't notice that you're barely eating until you finally ask the questions I know have been on your mind all day - hell, maybe every day for two years. I really don't want to think about it, less than a day removed from my cell and the old routine of prison life. But I look into your big, sad eyes and I know it's something I have to do.

"I guess I might as well tell you now," I say, putting my fork down and wiping my mouth with the back of my hand. "I can only tell you what it was like for me. I really just kept my head down, tried to stay out of trouble and not get mixed up with anything in there. You know, everyone breaks off into some group or gang. I just tried to stay out of it.

"As for why I wouldn't let you visit," I continue, sighing. "Well, I... I didn't want you to see me in there. I'd done something stupid, gettin' drunk and beating up on some guy. I guess I was ashamed and i didn't want you seeing me like that. I think... maybe it would have made the time harder to endure."

I frown slightly at your words, it wasn't the answer I was expecting. I can tell from the look in your eyes that you do not want to talk about it and yet I cannot help myself.

"You know I wouldn't have thought any less of you, if I would have seen you in there... it's been two years!" I say, I was getting just a little angry. I take deep breaths as I try to calm myself down, afterall it wasn't his fault.. well not entirely anyway.

Letting my fork drop from my hands, deciding that I have had enough. It makes contact with the plate as I lean back taking a sip of my beer.

This hadn't been how I expected the first day to go, I shouldn't have brought up any of the prison stuff.

I can feel my face getting flush with frustration. I drop my own fork, sitting back in my seat.

"You might not believe it, but I understand why you're pissed off," I say. "And I know it's been two years. God, I felt every day o' those years!" I close my eyes and rub my temple. I guess you get your temper from me. I can't blame you for that, though I won't have you yelling at me.

"It's not a time I want to dwell on," I say, picking up my own bottle and taking a swig. "I lost those years. Lost those years with you. And I'm sorry. But I wasn't gonna drag you into my crap. That's really all I can say."

I look up at you "I suppose that you are right" I say eventually, trying to make sure this night stayed pleasent... seeing as though it was the first time you were home in two years.

Sighing I straighten up, picking up my fork again and begining to eat it slowly.

"Arent you going to finish this.. I made it just for you" I say, gesturing with my free hand to your abandoned plate.

I pick up my fork and nod.

"Of course," I say, scooping up a mouthful. "I appreciate you making it." I finish my beer and stand, heading to the fridge to pull another couple out.

"Here," I say, putting one by your plate. "Looks like you're almost finished that one." I sit back down and twist off the cap, swigging back a little. I know I shouldn't overdo things; I don't want to get in trouble only a day out of the joint.

"What do you say we do something to really celebrate?," I ask. "We've got a lot of time to catch up on. Let's do something you really want to do tonight."
