What didn't you like about Vista? Some independent reviews I've read recently say it's pretty good
Yes, they are independant reviews, and the reviewers are not on the mocrosoft payroll, however, they do recieve massive amounts of cars, vacation trips, and even houses from microsoft for other non-specified, not on the payroll type things.
The only independant review I read about was a group of businesses that had no preference, they hired a group of reviewers whom they paid and specified that they were not to receive any monies from microsoft for any reason. The final review said that at each company the same programs and tasks could be done on XP faster than on Vista.
Would you think it strange that major business news organizations were paid not to print that by microsoft? Think again.
Vista may one day be a good OS, microsoft intends that whether good or not Vista will be the major OS sold by shoving it down the peoples throats.
Recently the microsoft updates page had announced that all XP and XP pro users would soon be unable to get updates and support, when this was pointed out to microsoft they quickly took action to fix this typo. Within a mere 3 weeks they were able to take this "oops" erroneous info off the main updates page.
Do you think it was an error? A typo? Or microsoft try to shove something down the publics throats?
If Vista was a better OS than XP why the errors, typos, and shoves?
Vista's list of problems is long and growing longer, what many people are getting pissed off about is the way microsoft is screaming that XP suddenly sucks, and screaming it loud.
I tried the OS and made suggestions to microsoft before Vista made its debut, they should have listened. I would be running Vista right now if I had the option to only install what I wanted. They chose not to give the consumer that option.
Its a bad choice for a business not to give the consumer choices, but then microsoft does not really consider itself a business, more like a "godlike power."
