Dangerous Duets ~ Incubus and his Muse (Closed for Veroe)

Slowly catching her breath there in his arms. Hugging him tenderly to her as well as they finally came back down from their shared bliss. She listened but did not seem too eager to untangle from him any time soon. She smiled listening to him. One hand moving to trace fingertips over his lips.

Yeah... We really should... I am sure he knows we want to talk to him....Canaan.

She was lost in this perfect moment a smile gracing her lips as she stared into his eyes. How was this perfection possible? How could this all be so real?

"We have a date with a cyclops to get to afterall."

Yet he still held her in his arms unwilling to let her go for even just a moment.

She smiled as she listened to his words. One hand lifted tracing fingertips over his lips gently, "Yeah... We really should... I am sure he knows we want to talk to him....Canaan."

"Yeah," He agreed, "We should really get up now then."

Yet he lingered there in bed just holding her, looking into her eyes, losing himself in their depths.

But inevitably they had to leave and pull back on their clothes. When they left Karena's house it was on his father's Harley. It felt wonderful to Canaan with her arms around him tight to hang on as he drove the big loud motorcycle out of the badlands and onto the city streets proper on their way towards the light fey's side of town.

Once dressed and on the bike with him she loved that she could curl against him as they went to meet with the person who could give them answers. She almost didn't care she did not want to lose whatever this is with Canaan. She loved just hugging him now with the wind in her hair and racing through town. She briefly imagined them just hitting the road and leaving this town and petty squabbling of dark and light fey behind.

Little did they know that there were those alerted to her leaving the badlands. Lost in the crowds of the city a fellow biker following her sacred charge. She strangely felt comfortable with her riding with the dark fey. She was not sure why when she had trusted no other fey around her. She was curious as to where they were going.

Another watcher a tiny winged informant made its way to its employer to pass along that they were together and seemed to be enjoying time out of the house and bedroom. It was so surprised that they left the badlands together that it did not think to see where they were going before returning to their employer...it had news and wanted its visit to the inner chambers to listen to the strange human rock and roll.

Canaan rode his father's hog out of the badlands his the wonderful miracle he had discovered just the day before holding tight to him as they rounded a corner at an intersection and entered uptown where the older more well-to-do part of the city.

It might have been just psychological but he knew the minute they had crossed the invisible border dividing the city between the two camps of Fey: light and dark. He felt the eyes, the judgment weighing down on his shoulders on the wind as he roared down the street to Markarios' building.

He shivered. The sooner he and Karena concluded their business with the cyclops and he got out the better.

They came up to the apartment complex and A short bleached blond woman with upswept hair and a nosering stepped out to block their way to the door way.

Canaan stopped dead in his tracks recognizing one of the most feared soldiers of the light fey in the city.

"Caroline." The infamous Caroline Durand was a Seraphim...not really an angel like the silly tales humanity had heard about them purported, but they were tough-Christ were they ever tough-and she had a reputation for being one of the most militant fey on either side.

"You have some testicles coming here, Incubus." She replied raising a questioning eyebrow towards Karena. "I wonder how good a lover the unaligned one will find you if I rip them off of you."

He stepped between them raising his hands, "I'm not looking for any trouble. I'm just here to see Markarios."

She laughed derisively, "From what I hear you're nothing but trouble. Always ducking away from responsibility so your sister can clean up after the mess you make of things."

Canaan said nothing in response to that.

Caroline continued, "Like the poor human girl you left a vegetable in the hospital." To Karena she said, "He didn't tell you what happens to the other girls before you, did he? They're parasites, him more than the others like him."

Canaan said nothing. He couldn't say anything. There was no defense when the truth was used as a weapon against you.

Caroline crossed her arms and nodded her head towards the door. "You have an hour. If you're not out of our territory by then I'll drag your broken bleeding ass to your sister and keep your Harley for myself."

"An hour," He nodded his understanding, "Thank you."

He led Karena past her and inside the apartment building towards the elevators. Pushing the button for it he whispered to her, "Careful, she thinks you've joined the dark fey because you're here with me, and Seraphim never forgive."

The elevator doors slid open and when they stepped inside Caroline called after them, "Beware, Incubus, the Cyclops will see right through you, right to your heart or lack there of...that goes for both of you."

The elevator doors slid closed and Canaan slouched against the wall breathing heavily. He smiled at Karena despite the show of his cowardice facing off against...against a fucking Seraphim of all things with no backup and no chance of surviving a second against Caroline alone.

Karena's expression changed growing cold as she stated through Caroline. She had dealt with serephim before and she thought very little of them. Bitch wanted a fight as far as Karena was concerned... bring it. While she was in no way evil locking that arrogant bitch in a feedback loop with her addicting ability would serve her right.

I honestly what light or dark grey think about me Canaan. I have dealt with her kind and attitude before. Just the wind blowing she won't do anything.

Exiting the elevator when it arrived at the floor they needed.

Markinos... you need better trained guard dog.

She smiled and walked over to him.

Need a few answers and before another light get gets pissy about a dark get in their turf view him as my guest and let's relax and talk.

-------------------

Narenya... she was one of the sacred warriors who guarded the allegedly late queen centuries ago. They were now guardians from the shadows. Her ward was Karena and the serephim has walked dangerously close to the tip of her blade even remotely threatening her ward or one Karena held dear. With the introduction of Canaan into Karena's life Canaan now fell under her protection. The guardians were neither light nor dark fey they were of the few living races that were sealed to the ancient ways. While most were never seen a simple dart warned people that at least one of them was near.

A silver dart landed in the door near Caroline as a warning. The question would be if she figured it out or dismissed it as a sacred guardian merely stating their presence to be nice.

The elevator doors slid closed and Canaan slouched against the wall breathing heavily. He smiled at Karena despite the show of his cowardice facing off against...against a fucking Seraphim of all things with no backup and no chance of surviving a second against Caroline alone.

"I honestly don't care what light or dark fey think about me Canaan," Karena stated, " I have dealt with her kind and attitude before. Just the wind blowing. She won't do anything."

"You're right," He chuckled straightening up, "But the wind is harmless until it turns into a tornado, and I'd have been her trailer park down there. I'm an incubus, Karena...a lover not a fighter...or not someone that can stare down a fucking seraphim at least."

The elevator came to a halt then and the doors slid open for them. He followed Karena to the door. He lifted his fist to knock on the door.

"Come in, beautiful muse and you can bring your incubus with you," A gravelly voice came from the other side before he could knock.

Karena opened it and stepped inside first, "Markarios... you need a better trained guard dog."

"Hmmm..Oh you mean, Caroline." An older black man in sunglassed and baby blue pajamas and flannel bathrobe and pink fluffy bunny slippers said as he shuffled out of the apartment's tiny kitchenette. He carried three cups of tea on a tray in his hands. "I would not characterize anyone that loves musical theater as much as she does as a mere guard dog. Believe it or not she is as musically talented as your new lover here. Caroline's just gotten a little over-protective of me since I told the Castalli that I would be dead in a few months."

He gestured to the chairs around his dining table setting the tray down. "please take your seats."

"You know you're going to die," Canaan asked pulling out one of the chairs.

"That was why Caroline was so hostile towards you, Incubus...well truthfully she's been hostile towards anyone that has come to visit me lately, but you being your sister's brother made her very suspicious of your intentions towards me. Seraphims tend towards letting their passions override their rational minds I'm afraid." He took one of the steaming mugs of tea and moved his hand over the table top searching for his spoon to stir it with. "I have told her it will be of natural causes of course, but she needs to blame somebody for it and you are a handy target."

Canaan reached out and scooted the spoon into contact with his fingers which grasped it and lifted to press its end on the side of his head. "There's a blood clot forming right here. In a few months I will have a stroke and it will kill me. Now what can I do for the two lovebirds today?"

"Need a few answers," Karena stated, "And before another light fey gets pissy about a dark fey on their turf view him as my guest and let's relax and talk."

"Very well, Canaan Hamish Alexander," Markarios answered using his spoon to stir his tea without looking at him at all, "I have my eye on you now. I see you."

Despite himself Canaan found himself shrinking under his regard. It was not easy knowing he was being judged by another. He had made many mistakes in his life after all. His mouth had gone dry and he reached for one of the mugs of tea.

"Not that one," Markarios hit his hand with the spoon, "That one is for Karena. I put three table spoons of honey into it to fulfill that craving for something sweet she's been experiencing for that last few minutes." He tapped the side of the other mug. "This one is for you."

Canaan took the indicated mug unsure whether he'd offended the cyclops or not.

"The Price is Right will be on in a few minutes...so let's cut the chit chat and go right to the root of why you wanted to come to me this morning." He took a sip of his tea before continuing, "Which would you like to hear first? About your connected dreams or about the precarious position between the two factions you find yourself in now?"

The dreams... I am used to walking that precarious line.

Karena laughed taking the honey filled tea and smiled.

Thank you my friend. This will spare me dealing with that cranky feline in the badlands convenience store.

Who are we seeing in the nightmares. The woman with the dark lines all over her face or the bodiless claws holding my face or the dark whatever they are? Nightmares have never really plagued me fill I went to the bar that night.

She did not like hearing about the fact that she would lose another of the few sbe has ever trusted in this town. She reached to pat his free hand and smiled to him.

What can you tell us if what will you tell us that you know? I know you never tell the whole situation. Omitting part of the whole as not your tale to tell.

"The dreams..." Karena said.

"What about the whole 'precarious position' thing," Canaan asked her.

She shrugged taking her mug of tea with a chuckle telling him. "I am used to walking that precarious line."

Markarios tipped his mug for another sip of tea. "For both of you your dreams are a twin rivers that flow out into the same ocean."

"How is that even possible," Canaan asked, "Neither one of us deals in dreamwalkers or any Fey I know of that could cause this. And even if there is why would they do this to Karena and Me?"

"Who are we seeing in the nightmares," Karena pressed, "The woman with the dark lines all over her face or the bodiless claws holding my face or the dark whatever they are?"

"There is more to this than either of you know," He explained, "Much of it is the fears of your mind responding to the truth...the ancient sleeper is awakening threatening the whole of the world human and Fey both and it revolves in the shadows of fate solely around the pair of you two like an asteroid being drawn to collide into a planet by the pull of its gravity."

The cuckoo clock on the wall announced the hour and Markarios smiled at them. "Time for my show." He motioned to the room. "Could one of you look for the remote. Damned thing always seems to get lost on me?"

Cryptic as ever.

Karena sighed and found his remote placing it in his hand.

Here old friend now I guess explain the precarious position to him since he wants to know please. After all you know the intro by heart.

She kissed the old mans brow and went back to drinking her tea. Thinking on what he said. Something connected them and connected to them. Darkness... But why him? She was used all this being an outsider of somewhat unknown powers and missing lineage but he was the brother of the local Lilith... Why him?

The cuckoo clock on the wall announced the hour and Markarios smiled at them. "Time for my show." He motioned to the room. "Could one of you look for the remote. Damned thing always seems to get lost on me?"

"Somehow," Canaan muttered despondently, "I thought you'd be able to offer us more."

"I just tell the truth as I see it, Incubus," Markarios defended himself, "It's not my fault you're too blind to recognize what it means."

Sighing Karena found his remote control and handed it to him. "Here old friend now I guess explain the precarious position to him since he wants to know please. After all you know the intro by heart."

He took the remote and felt his fingers over the buttons. "The world is divided against you, my friend. The path you walk is very narrow and treacherous." He pressed a button and the television came on behind him. With people "coming on down" for the Price is Right.

Markarios put the remote down as the contestants started bidding on a brand new microwave oven. "You could do that until now. The Incubus complicates matters now. As long as you two are together. Both sides will pull at you both."

One of the contestants bid a dollar over the bid of the previous one and won. "People are like those contestants fey or human. Winning becomes more important than how you compete."

Kareena smiled and kissed the old man's brow.

It as always has been good to visit with you. I have always and will always be willing to fight what comes my way and not that means...

She looked to Canaan and smiled.

Whatever comes our way.

One of the contestants bid a dollar over the bid of the previous one and won. "People are like those contestants fey or human. Winning becomes more important than how you compete."

Canaan frowned at that. He had hoped Markarios would be able to help them more than this.

He watched as Karena came up to him and kissed him on the forehead. "It as always has been good to visit with you."

"I only have a few months left," Markarios replied with a smile, "Don't be a stranger, Karena."

She straightened back up stating, "I have always and will always be willing to fight what comes my way and not that means..."

She looked over to Canaan. Their eyes met as she added, "Whatever comes our way."

"Whatever comes our way," He confirmed with a nod of his head to her.

Saying their farewells to the Cyclops they made their way back out of the apartment. Though as Canaan was about to shut the door Markarios called out after him.

"Incubus," He called out after him, "Do not let her go. She will need you in the struggle she must endure to come."

When they were gone Markarios picked up his rotary phone fingers rolling over the brail numbered buttons. Dialing a specific number he told the person who picked up. "This is Markarios. The Incubus and Muse came to me today to ask what is happening to them..."

He listened to what the other person had to say. "Yes, I see the truth as it is, but the truth is a dangerous thing to tell all at once in this case. Do not worry I told them little to sway them from the choice she must make."

He nodded to what the other person had to say to that, "Yes, I only have a few months before I die. If you must you can end it for me instead of waiting for the bloodclot."

Narenya hung up the phone truly she and the Cyclops were the only two who held true knowledge about the identity of Karen's true bloodline and that was something she was honorbound to protect. She did not want to kill anyone but if it came down to it she would.

Do you see yourself telling her more than even I know as the clot progresses? We will speak later on this.

______________

Karena sighed he was one of the few who didn't gripe about her picking sides. Looking to Canaan she smiled.

So now what should we do. I know he is keeping something from us. That is just how he is. I hope you believe in that no matter what comes out way Canaan?

She leaned up to kiss him softly once they were in the elevator not caring who saw when the doors opened.

IC: Markarios

He nodded to what the other person had to say to that, "Yes, I only have a few months before I die. If you must you can end it for me instead of waiting for the bloodclot."

The voice on the other end asked, "Do you see yourself telling her more than even I know as the clot progresses?"

"The clot is not near any part of my brain that should effect my speech or judgment so that is doubtful," He answered, "But I may just tell her anyway. She is a friend after all, and this will cause her unbearable suffering....perhaps more than I can endure her going through in blissful ignorance as to why."

There came a pause before the voice stated, "We will speak later on this."

He nodded, "If my weakness endangers what must happen with your desperate plan for Karena and the Incubus I will expect you to end me before I can do that...as quickly and cleanly and painlessly as you can of course."

He nodded again, "Farewell and if there is a god I will pray to him that for the sake of the future your efforts in this will be fruitful...and that she will forgive you for it."

"Whatever comes our way," He confirmed with a nod of his head to her.

Saying their farewells to the Cyclops they made their way back out of the apartment.

"Incubus," Markarios called out after him, "Do not let her go. She will need you in the struggle she must endure to come."

Canaan nodded saying, "I will. You can count on that, my friend."

He shut the door and turned to look Karena in the eye as she waited for him. She gave him a sad little smile saying, "So now what should we do?"

He shrugged, "I don't know anyone else..." Then after a moment he suggested, "...Maybe one of the dreamwalkers in the dark fey, but those are some nasty folks. I wouldn't trust them." He looked back at the door to Markarios' apartment. "This was really the only safe option I could think of though I thought the Cyclops would be more helpful than that."

"I know he is keeping something from us. That is just how he is," She commented as he followed her back down the hall to the elevator, "I hope you believe in that no matter what comes our way Canaan?"

They just reached the elevator and he pressed the down button. "I do..." He smiled to her, "...now more than ever."

The elevator doors opened and they stepped inside and then Canaan was surprised when Karena turned around, reached up and pulled him down to meet her lips in a kiss.

The doors closed and the elevator started moving down. He didn't know which one of them pushed the button for the lobby. His attention was a tad preoccupied with her, Karena.

His arms wrapped around her as they were transported away from the elevator, and this city and the two sides of the fey races, and the uncertain fate consuming them. He was lost in this kiss, the feel of her lips, the way her hands clutched his shoulders. He was lost in her, Karena.

The elevator slowed and stopped. The doors slid open. Caroline stood waiting for them, arms crossed.

She snorted seeing them, "Back to your usual tricks, Incubus."

Karena spun to face Caroline with a hiss.

Back off Caroline.

Her eyes cold and lethal as her powers started to flare. She wanted to lock the bitch in a feedback loop till she burned out.

Keep your eyes on Our friend upstairs and let me know of his condition.

She noted the silver bolt in the wall.

Looks like you are not so observant. Did you even know you had a visitor? Let's go Canaan. We still have e some questions to get answers to.

With that she walked out of the building to his motorcycle. Climbing onto the bike she smiled to him.

Or we could grab a bite to eat?

The elevator slowed and stopped. The doors slid open. Caroline stood waiting for them, arms crossed.

She snorted seeing them, "Back to your usual tricks, Incubus."

That set Karena off. She spun around glaring at the Seraphim. "Back off Caroline."

"Excuse me," Caroline huffed dangerously. Canaan put a hand on Karena's arm trying to pull her back from making a big big mistake in provoking one of the strongest warriors from the light fey.

"Keep your eyes on Our friend upstairs and let me know of his condition," She continued before noting a silver arrow stuck in the wall, "Looks like you are not so observant. Did you even know you had a visitor?"

"I'm not afraid of a little arrow," Caroline growled back at her crossing her arms obstinately, "Now both of you Dark Fey losers, get the hell back to your side of the city."

"She isn't a dark fey," Canaan protested, "She's just with me by circumstances out of either of our control. Just listen-"

"I'm not interested in your perverse story of how you seduced her, Incubus," Caroline snorted, "And just now she sure sounded like one of you to me."

Karena stormed off. "Let's go Canaan. We still have some questions to get answers to."

Canaan followed her out of the building towards his father's Harley. Karena was already climbing on.

"Well with that done," He told her pulling his helmet on over his head before climbing onto the bike himself, "Where should we go now? Those dreamwalkers from the Dark Fey perhaps, but we'll need to get something to give them as an offering first."

"Or we could grab a bite to eat?" She suggested and in response to that Canaan's stomach growled.

He smiled to her as he started the engine to roaring life. "Well once we get out of the Light Fey's side of the city we won't be far from the best Mexican place in town..."

Do you know what that silver dart near her head meant?

Karena smiled.

That petty little Seraphim has apparently...

She paused wondering why it appeared after they were there.

Pissed off a guardian...

Shaking her head she dismissed it.

Mexican food sounds great. Let's go. The further away I am from that petty little bitch the happier I'll be.

IC: Canaan Alexander

He smiled to her as he started the engine to roaring life. "Well once we get out of the Light Fey's side of the city we won't be far from the best Mexican place in town..."

As he pulled out of the apartment building's parking lot and onto the busying streets of the city during the lunch hour rush, Karena wrapped her arms tight around him and asking, "Do you know what that silver dart near her head meant?"

"No," He said as he turned left onto the street that would take them out of the Light Fey's side of town and one block away from Dos Hermanos Ristorante.

"That petty little Seraphim has apparently..." She said as he pulled up to a redlight at the intersection of Fourth avenue and Hamilton, "Pissed off a guardian..."

He looked over his shoulder to him, "Why would one of them even care about Caroline's nasty attitude...they look over really important people and things, don't they?"

The Volkswagon directly behind them honked its horn impatiently at them. Canaan turned back around to see the light had turned Green. Mollified he pulled the Harlan back in motion and began traveling down Hamilton Boulevard, once they passed by the Metropolitan Musuem of natural Sciences he began to breathe much easier. They were officially back on the Dark Fey's side of the city now.

"We're about a block away from the best Mexican Food you'll find anywhere this far north of the Rio Grande," He told Karena light-heartedly.

"Mexican food sounds great. Let's go," She agreed, "The further away I am from that petty little bitch the happier I'll be."

"karena, you know..." He told her softly as he pulled onto Merchant Street which would take them straight to Dos Hermanos, "...You know everything Caroline said about me was the truth, don't you? That's the real reason you didn't like her so much, isn't it?"

I don't care what she has to say about you or anyone else. Especially not some little petty pain in the ass Seraphim.

She hugged closer to him on the bike. But her mind goes back to that dart wondering if she would need to go back and talk to Markinos about it.

I can't wait till set get there though how many and I going to get grief from

She laughed a little and snuggled.

"karena, you know..." He told her softly as he pulled onto Merchant Street which would take them straight to Dos Hermanos, "...You know everything Caroline said about me was the truth, don't you? That's the real reason you didn't like her so much, isn't it?"

"I don't care what she has to say about you or anyone else," She told him, "Especially not some little petty pain in the ass Seraphim."

"I just..." He pulled to another stop at the last redlight before they reached the restaurant, "...I just hate that you're being labeled and condemned by the light fey because of me."

The light turned green and the Harley underneath them roared back to life under his control. To his words she laughed snuggling into his back. "I can't wait to get there but how many dark fey will I get hassled by.

"I doubt there'd be many Fey at Dos Hermanos," Canaan told her as he veered over to the side slowing down to turn into the parking lot for the restaurant, "Most don't know about it. The majority of its customers are humans. I only know because it was one of Naomi's, my former girlfriend's, favorite restaurants."

He pulled into the parking lot wondering what was going on through Karena's mind at the reminder of his previous lover.

She snuggled up close against him smiling. She didn't care that there was an ex. She had exes too. Several were in the ground but then again that was the curse of their kinds. All she cared about was the two of them... Their present and future.

Well then even more reason to go and get some peace and quiet. No dark fey to annoy us. Plus what about me tells you that I give a rat's ass what light or dark fey think of me?

She smiled reaching to turn his face to hers.

All I care about is us... How we feel about each other... What we want and what we do. That is it. I don't care who your sister is or who the light fey leader is none of that... Just... Us.

She leaned in kissing him softly then stared deep into his eyes.

We are all that matters... We are linked somehow so we and what we want are all that matters Canaan.

"Most don't know about it. The majority of its customers are humans. I only know because it was one of Naomi's, my former girlfriend's, favorite restaurants."

They climbed off the bike and pulled their helmets off as Karena told him, "Well then even more reason to go and get some peace and quiet. No dark fey to annoy us. Plus what about me tells you that I give a rat's ass what light or dark fey think of me?"

He shook his head in amusement at her irreverent audacity. She had pretty much just scoffed at the power of gravity-or any other fundamental and unquestioned power in the universe-upon her as far as he or any other fey light or dark would be concerned. He couldn't imagine any other fey not caring what either side thought of them. The division of light or dark was too preeminent to everything they were taught and raised to believe in, but that didn't seem to be the case for Karena, and god bless her, he loved her for that.

He offered her his hand to cross the parking lot to enter the restaurant. He should still warn her of the mistake she was making, "Persey, my sister, the Lillith, may-no will-think differently about that and expect you to get in line with the rest of the dark fey behind her now."

"All I care about is us... How we feel about each other... What we want and what we do. That is it," She told him, "I don't care who your sister is or who the light fey leader is none of that... Just... Us."

She reached up fingers cupping his chin and turning his head to face her.

"We are all that matters..." She leaned and kiss him on the lips.

It was a moment that caught him off guard. It was a pure, uncomplicated, beautiful moment of truth and simplicity and Canaan never wanted it to end.

She pulled back and continued, "We are linked somehow."

"We don't know how or why though," He told her in return.

She shook her head explaining, "So we and what we want are all that matters, Canaan."

"I love your spirit, Karena," He said with an affectionate smile on his face, "Somehow your words make me believe what you just said could be true."

He pulled her in for a hug and nuzzled his head to hers, "Don't ever change, Karena."

Well they will all be in for a rude awakening. Even Audra has never demanded I choose sides.

Her band holding his as they walked into the restaurant.

Trust me I will never change my thoughts and outlooks on this town and it's petty squabbles. I have lived I a city where the light and dark fey helped the humans. Running shelters and kids programs fire departments schools you name it. If it helped the humans they did it. If one of theirs was found hunting or harming humans. They had strict punishment for anyone harming a human.

She laughed.

Before you ask why I left. My foster parents were in a car wreck and the paramedics could not resuscitate them. I was 12 the humans I had been placed with knew about supernatural beings and kept me active with other supernatural beings my age.

Dos Hermanos was not one of those Mexican restaurants that played loud mariachi music and played up the tourist kitsch image so many of their competitors in the city. Instead it was decorated like any hacienda in Mexico city. They were greeted warmly in the doorway and led to a little table by patio.

"I've heard of that place you mentioned. You mean sanctuary, don't you," Canaan asked her, "That's only a myth. Every where in this world its divided among the light and dark fey."

He pulled out her chair for her and sat down across from her. "Now their Enchiladas des camaron is really good, but the best thing they have on the menu is 'Abuela Maria's grilled corn Sopa'. It's just soup made with pureed corn, but the layers of flavor they manage to put in it truly makes it special."

"So what do you want to try here," He continued with a smile, "I'm buying."

She shook her head and decided that she would just have to get him to travel with her some time to see how other areas are in comparison to his hometown here.

Well it all sounds so good... Perhaps... Something with steak. And definitely Margaritas

She relaxed. He was the only one she sensed there which was good. After dealing with the seraphim she would be hard pressed not to find her way into a fight if any more attitude was thrown their way.

So... Now what do we do?
