Dark Continent

Cooky

Cooky managing to free himself, made his way to the deck. Finding the robe was a bonus. His smile turned to a hurt look as Gaia demanded her robe.
"Why of course my dear, here take it." He held it out where she must reach for it exposing the little she had covered. Gaia boldly grabbed the robe. Cooky's smile returned, as well as a massive bulge in his thin wool trousers. "I was just holding it for you. Let me help you pack...where is your room?"

Rose

"Stephan?" Rose called, trying to catch the man's attention. She'd meant to ask him about that book. With a sigh, she followed Miles to the balloon. Sitting on the deck beside it to wait, the shadows dropped it in her hands, she opened up the book to see what it was.

She flipped to a page with a tiger-man illustration and raised an eyebrow.

OOC: If you want me see something specific, work it into the next post, just sorta winged it here....

LUCINDA MALONE:

Lucinda kept her eyes closed as she heard Stephen's words. She thought her heart might stop right there. She couldn't move. She feigned sleeping as he left her to rest. As soon as he left she sat up and hugged her knees to herself. Her mind was in turmoil. Did he mean it? Did this change how she felt? She was suddenly not so sure of herself or her plans.

MILES BRANDON:

Miles glanced over Rose's shoulder as she opened the mysterious journal. "Hey... ain't that the journal? I thought Cooky had stolen it!" He seemed surprised. Rose flicked a look at him that silenced him as she continued to glance at the picture in the journal. Miles shivered as he too focused on the pictures of horrible creatures dipicted in meticulous detail. "Hey... they look kind of dangerous..." he murmered nervously half to himself.

Rose

"I don't know..." Rose said hesitantly.

"I think they look...interesting. Who's is this anyway? I got it when I turned out Cooky's pockets..."

gaia

grabbing the robe, my body exposed i quickly pulled it around me and tied the front. pushing my hair back, i sneered at him, "i should toss you to the sea for that." i said refering to both the evident bulge and the lack of decency. i noticed the balloon on the other end of the ship being raised, slowly but surely the great air beast was 'coming alive.' i shot cooky a protective glare.
