Darkest Days (OPEN)

Ah, Raphael. Not that he wasen't a good man, but he wasen't exactly the most realiable man, always dallying with the other help. "Zeek likes his meat raw, thank you." And with a slight huff, he walked away, the flopping mass of feminane flesh still sitting in his hand.

As he walked down the hall, the various pictures of kings gone by lineing the sides. "These are the kings of Imperium, in case you haven't noticed. All men, great men, but all men. Maybe that should tell you something, hmm?"

Eventually, they stood before the main throne door, the sides molded in gold and the wood polished to perfection. "And this, is where the current king is. You new master."

Vera looked at the kigns as Cana spoke to her. She stayed silent, sighing every once in a while.

When he spoke of the current king, and her new master. She shuddered. The doors opened slowly, and Vera didn't know what was next. She wondered if there were chains in there, whips and weapons. She closed her eyes, before opening as he stepped in.

... Behind the door was the room of the greatest splendor most people would ever see. A long path, covered in velvet carpet, ran between two rows of marble collums. The walls had fountions on each side, shotting delicate steams of water in intricate patterns. The ceiling was a mosaic of different stones, making a picture of dragons and warriors and spring suns. And the focal point, a large throne of rainbow colored iron, flanked them on the far wall, with a giant of a man, wearing a silver lined golden tunic and a thick circle of gold around his head, his body nearly bulging out. His hair was thick and black, and starped across his black was a fullblade; thick steel.

"Brother!" he spoke in a loud, bosterious voice. "Welcome back! I see you have brough me my slave? Please, bring her over."

"Yes brother," Cana politly obliged. He started walking delicatly across the rug, keeping a smile on his face as he dumped her on before his throne. "One warrior woman, rare."

Vera felt herself dumped onto the floor. Slowly her limbs were losing the numbness. She coughed, before putting herself up on her knees in front of him. She cursed silently at the thought of slave. She looked at him, glaring almost.

So, the woman was starting to get herself back? That insect must have not have a full venom sack; he'd have to talk to the supplier about that. He stood on, watching his brother appraise her like the livestock she now was. He stood up, towering at least two and a querter meters, and looked with one quizzical eye.

"She's a beuty," he spoke half-spoke, half laughed. "And the killer's eye, I like her, can't wait to try her..."

Just then, another figure rushed through the doors of the throne chamber, panting for breath in his white messanger's tunic. "Mylord," he spoke with a rough breath. "The ambassador from Beelia has arrived!"

Zeek looked up, frustrated, as he slapped himself in the face. "Curse my luck," he mumbled, stealing one more glance down at his prize before taking up his noble bearing again. "Brother," he quickly asked. "Please take her to the slave chambers while I get my kingly mattered done." With that, he hustled out of the room with crisp, controled steps.

THe news hit Cana like a ton of bricks; haden't he done this already? he looked down with relative contempt at the woman, grinding his teeth before housting her back up to support her on his shoulder. "Come on," he grumbled. "Let's get you going."

Vera looked up and almost shudder at the sight of him towering over her. She hissed out a breath as he told Cana to put her in the slave chambers. She felt heself back hoisted onto his shoulder as she carried out.

"Slave chambers?" She asked, letting him carry her down.

"oh, you won't like it," he found a chance to get a little fun out of this, leading her out of the situation. "There is small garden, soft beds, as much as you can eat and drink, and servents to keep you entertained between my brother's visits. Yes," he chucked as they took a turn into the stone hallway. "Hell for a warrior like you."

The halls where danker here, less decorated and more bare stone; no sence in keeping things fancy for the servents. "Why don't you tell me what you where doing on our border in the first place, warrior ?"

Vera rolled her eyes at the prince. He just couldn't shut up. She wished for places like that yes, but she knew. Where she was going, it wasn't likely what she would like.

She rolled her eyes again. "My leader was beginning a raid on your country. I of course went along with it, since I am the strongest of my army. We were fighting you people, until some large Orc desided to hit me over the head. I don't wear a helmet all the time, so I passed out. And before I kenw it I was here." She explained. She wanted to struggle from him, but the feeling in her legs wasn't back yet. She sighed, deeply concerned for herself.

A raid? He eyed the woman quizically. "You expect me to beleive that," he gave her a cold stare. "That viceroy of Rayal is a pompase fool, but he isen't so stupid as to attack the Imperium, not with other easier targets." However, the look in her eyes told him she was not kidding. "Even if you where, you forget the first rule of war; always be prepared to fight. YOu diden't, and you got beat up by band of sellswords. You may be a poor woman, but if this is true you are a worse warrior."

They took a final turn, the arrow slits showing the sun outside, before Cana opened a door before him, unlocking three locks, to reveal a small rose guerden, the ceialing vaulted glass, with painted wood walls in every direction, three containing identical doors. "This would be the rose garden, dear, first of the slave chambers. What do you think?"

Vera looked around. This was odd.

"I expected it to be disgusting and unruly. This is odd." She told Cana. She liked it, but she hated as he had spoken about her country again. She bit her lip.

"When will your king want me." She asked.

"We Imperials do not normally keep slaves; and royal slaves are limited to three for the king at a time, and two for the crown prince, both of required to have a male handservent. My brother hasen't gotten in a new girl in some months, but he might soon." He slid her off his shoulder, still keeping her steady as the venom wore off. "Your bed chambers and food is off the right, the king's roon is across, and the servents chambers are to the left. My brother will be here as soon as he can, and I am obligated to stay with you until he comes, so anything else you need?"

Vera felt her legs come back to her and she wobbled, but finally got on her feet. She sighed, listening to him, before wrapping her hands around her breasts already.

"What shall I wear to accomodate my new master?" She asked, looking around at the quarters. She looked at him, sighing.

"Um," Cana looked at her oddly. "Do you feel, well? You are still wearing your armor, and the king likes it, rough so to speak." He lead her around the room, taking in the scents of the garden... and something else. "You could wash of some of the stink, though." he took a hand to his nose. "There is a bath pan in the back of your bed chambers, you may use that now if you'd like."

Vera nodded. She looked at Cana and then her bath pan. She sighed.

"I'd ask you to leave. But I know you might like the show. So I don't really care." She said, then began to take off her armor. When she was finally down to nothing, her breasts spilling out, she slowly got in the water and began to wash the stink off.

Soon she was cleaned. She got out and wrapped a towel around, before taking a cloth and wiping the muck off of her armor. She put it back on, and looked at Cana. Surely this meeting was over with.

"I am ready." She said, ready to give them a piece of her mind.

He gave her a look of contempt. "How dare you entertain the thought, I'll wait outside." He should have been more worried, but she diden't have any wepons, and he was five times the fighter she was.

He whisteld to himself as he slid into the garden, ideally minding the wall as he listened to the splashes and slips to make sure she wasen't up to anything funny. It seemed to take ten, maybe twenty minutes, until she came out, nearly shining, and he gave her a smirk. "Cleanliness befits a proper lady," the tone seemed acidic. "So I'm sure I'll be able to stand you, at least until my brother arrives. Is there anything else you'de like before His Highness graces you?"

Vera smiled at the compliment, even if it was kind of odd for him. She pushed her hair fom her face. She wasn't hungy or thirsty yet. Maybe she could just help his Highness, before getting some food.

"Actually I am well for right now. I'm ready to meet your Highness." She said, almost obnoxious.

Well, this was akward.

He'd been dealing with his dislike of her from the start by distracting himself, but now there was little to say and nothing to do, and he still coulden't leave. "His Highness will be here when his is ready," he spoke, mildly annoied. "I'm just his brother, so why don't you just shadow-spar or whatever else it is you do while I sit here and work on the budget, shall we?" He turned his head down, sitting on a stone, as he took out a peice of parchment and began factoring some figures

"I don't know what to do." Vera mumbled. She sighed, wishing the skirt she was wearing was a little longer, the shirt a little looser then what it was now. She sat on a rock, looking around the place. She didn't know what to do. May as well just wait.

It could have been minutes, it seemed like hours. Still, doing the budget was a decent way to pass the time, especially with the new numbers. He kept glancing back at the woman, to make sure she diden't run away or try anything silly. She was a good girl, though, and he diden't have the need to grab for his mace at all. It was a peace he haden't take the time to know in a while.

Waited and waited, but the king did not apper. "Looks like the ambassador is using full formalites and had a lot to say, he mumbled. "I could be here for quite awhile."

"I'm getting really bored here Cana." She said, pushing her hair from her face as she drummed her fingers against her thigh. This was boring. Even though she knew she didn't want to be here, she wanted something to do.

"Perhaps you have something for us to do?" She asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Look, it isen't my job to entertian you," he looked over the top of the budget after cutting a fair chunk from the new naval budget to balance the crop failures in the north, his brow forrowed in though. "Shadow-spar, count things, go mastribate in your bedchamber for all I care, just don't get any funny ideas."

Vera sighed. She wouldn't mastrubate anywhere. She was a warrior, not a slut. At least for now.

They waited another couple of minutes. Vera sighed, waiting and waiting. She was becoming impatient.

Soon there was a knock on the door. " Finally!" She exclaimed, but shut up at the look of Cana.

The knock at the door was music to his ears, but reminded him of something else. "Get up and present yourself," he stated hastly as he pulled her up to her feet, straghtening her poise, bending her knees, and the like. "Be a woman for once in your life, geez."

Once he got her perect, he walked over to the door and pulled it open slowly. Still, he coulden't shake the feeling something was wrong... where was the noise of the guerds?

Behind the door was Raphal, just as omipresent as ever. "Excuse me sir, lady , the King will not be seeing you tonight, as the ambassador request they dine in," he looked lewdly at the woman. "You are to keep his slave under control until further notice, ok?"

Then, before Cana could respond, he left.

Dumbfound, Cana looked back at his now longer term charge. "Well, looks like it is my job to enertain you now."

Vera groaned, looking away. She couldn't wait to get out of here, and now she was stuck again. And now with someone who hated her as much as she hated him.

"Well now what are you going to do with me? You have to keep me 'under control' don't you? What does that mean for you?" She asked, throwing her hands out and sighign.

"Basically," Cana tucked the quill away as rolled the scroll back up and slipped it into his pouch. "I'm supposed to make sure you don't run of or kill yourself. However, try something too funny and," he placed his now-free hand on his mace to make the point.

He stood their, watching her for about five minutes. "Ok," he finnaly broke the silence. "You Rayalish must do something for fun, so why don't we just here it?"
