I'd like to think that a DIL could be seduced away from her husband by a FIL of the usual "age difference", say in his 50s..? In stories I see a lot of "age compression" going on, as if the writers are afraid to lose their readers by making the age gap realistic. Much of the time it's made out to be barely a 20 year disparity.

I've spoken with more than one on here lately who think that the grey demographic shouldn't be denied their fun. For that matter, I suspect that there are quite a few SILS out there who would go for their 50+ MIL, given half a chance.

I agree totally. There's certainly an added "hook" to be had from the age difference, both ways. IRL there are plenty of hot looking women 50+. Can't speak for the opposite but you hear women talk about how men have to make less effort than they do to stay attractive.

I think the key is to reading through them once and awhile so that you think of them and get inspired. You cannot think of improvements to them if you have completely forgotten about them.

Agreed, I do periodically re-read most of my in progress stories and often add to or make some changes. Also, this board is really helpful, such as with this post, it gives me motivation to take another look.
