She
His fingers and mouth worked magic on my body, taking pleasure in my form as he gave more pleasure than I'd ever truly imagined. It was wonderful, and every part of my body felt alive and powerful, as though suddenly filled with a vital spark that had long since gone out. Then I heard his voice.
"I love you," he breathed, his own words matching mine.
I went cold at that, and stopped returning his advances. I pushed him from my body, rolling to lie on top of him as I stared down into vibrant, half-dead eyes. I had to know.
"Do you? Do you even know what you are saying, Raven?"
I used his name now, not leech-boy. If we continued on with this is would be the first of many things I would yield to him.
"Do you know what it is to love somoene?"
My brow was creased in nervous tension as I studied every line of his face, looking for laughter or lies.
"Would you die for me, Raven? Would you sleep in the sunlight or take a stake through the heart, just because someone offered a choice between your life or my pain? Would you slaughter everyone in Dead Town and beyond if I was kidnapped, not caring what happened to you but only that you found me? Tell me, Raven, would you put every pleasure of mine before every need of your own? Please do not lie to me, just answer truly. When you say you love me, is that what you mean?"
