Death Row Meal

Salmon and ahi sashimi with plenty of wasabi and soy sauce for starters
Bone in, 2 inch thick Ribe eye, BBQed, rare with straight horseradish
A steamed artichoke with garlic butter
Mixed spring salad with blue cheese crumbles and blue cheese dressing
One slice of thin crust combo pizza
Chocolate mouse and creme brulee for dessert

A big plate of my dad's home made spaghetti. Not only is it delicious, but it takes a minimum of 2 days for the sauce alone. ;)

do you think they'll let me have pussy for my last meal?

This reminds me of a bit by a comedian/humorist:

A good ole boy from Kentucky on death row is asked what he wants for his final meal and he says a mess of mushrooms. The warden says, well dont you want a nice big ole steak to go with those mushrooms. That ole boy says, "no, just the mushrooms". So, the warden says, "why in the world do you just want plain old mushrooms when you could have anything in the world?" He says, "well, up til now, I've always been afraid to try em."

:D

Bump for your last gastronomique meal

First course would be jumbo prawn cocktail..

I'd have some hundred-year-old eggs.

What? You don't have any hundred-year-old eggs?

No problem, I can wait.

Second course ~ Liquid... Cadillac Margarita and a side shot of chilled Patron

Oysters
Escargot
Steak tartar and pomme frits
Chocolate tart

Third course ~ Quesadilla filled with sauteed baby bella's and crab...

I'm a simple gal, give me:

a small salad of mixed greens with chunks of grilled salmon, avacado, red onions, cherry tomatos, freshly grated parmesan and a light creamy dressing.

then a sirloin oscar - medium, with asparagus, grilled garlic shrimp and scallops and bearnaise, with a baked potato, loaded.

for dessert, cheesecake of course, but make it with irish cream, chocolate and raspberry drizzle.

The wine is where I fall short - I can't decide between red or white.

hold on a minute.. I can deep throat a bottle.. I'm never going to prison.. sheesh

(it's good to be the girl :) )

Pork belly, scallops and black pudding to start.

Surf and Turf of Sirloin Steak cooked rare with garlic prawns. Plus Chips and Gorgonzola Sauce.

Praline Cheesecake.

Washed down with some fine English Ale.

Walk the green mile nicely full after.

I'm going with Sara Evans...hopefully its an all I can eat meal.

I wouldn't request anything, just whatever they are preparing for everyone else that evening. I won't remember it once I am dead so can't see the point in worrying about it.

Ok then, what would be your favorite meal ignoring the death factor. :p

A pint of cobra
.4 Onion bhaji's
Meat Vindaloo
A large bowl of prunes
Pint of Guiness
2 Tins of Baked Beans

Ready Warden :)

That's a strange combination. I have to say though, I'm the opposite for Marmite. Ruddy horrible stuff ;)

Its the ultimate (ewww don't say that you are a vegemite person) or otherwise a blue steak will usually do me quite nicely with sour cream or garlic butter.
