Democrat Representative proposes to suspend the 1st Amendment next Wed.

Nice evading, but you didn't answer my question. Here it is again:
Can you tell me what abridge means? Yes, the resolution says it's to "encourage" you to STFU. What does "encourage" mean?

Sure, it sounds all warm and fuzzy to you, like a Care Bears cartoon. Well, the USA is not a Care Bears cartoon. We don't STFU for anybody, on any day.

Why do you rightwingtards have such a big problem understanding the first amendment?

First AJ claims the first amendment doesn't apply to "emotive attacks" on people or some such tripe and now you're claiming that a congressman is proposing to suspend the first amendment because he's calling for a "complaint free" day?

Do you ever think things through?

That's no where near what I said. My comments were directed to the White House lashing out at Fox News.

Why doesn't Congress declare a big STFU Day for itself? Maybe they can bring down global warming.
If they only met for one month a year, the country would be so much better off. The rest of the year, they should be in their districts having town hall meetings, listening to COMPLAINTS.

You do know a "resolution" isn't the same thing as a "law," don't you?

You still haven't answered my question:

What part of having a "complaint free day," once a year on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, is in violation of the first amendment?

I'll come back and quote it for you later, gotta go to work now. Feel free to edit, 'cause several people quoted you :D

Again with the pesky facts...

Yeah, grab a bottle of water and take a power walk, you'll feel better.

Nice of you to worry so about my health.

I just finished my breakfast: a glass of V-8, an Elvis special (A slice of toasted whole wheat bread with a tablespoon of peanut butter and a sliced banana on top), and a hard-boiled egg.

I'll go for my walk after I finish the yard work, trim the trees and stack the limbs for trash collection. I'm averaging about 6 miles a day and 20 flights of stairs. I'm down 15 pounds from 3 months ago.

Go ahead make some more fat jokes, they aren't making me look bad. Reinforce just how out of touch you are, and alienate a few more people while you're at it, Dumbass.

Up until the 60s the California Legislature met once every six months. We need to get back to that schedule, they would have a lot less time for mischief.

My State's ruffians meet from January through March. One bill, one topic - no riders or unrelated add-ons. It's a good system, but you have to watch em like a hawk during the legislative session.

Living in Berkley-East, I have many more issues with the County Council.

Hey everyone! I found a Retard Thread!

In case anyone jumped to the end here -- no one in Congress is proposing to suspend the First Amendment. Just more "News From the Ass". Everyone back to my place for cigars and Brandy. (Remember, Brandy doesn't like titty-fucking, so stop asking.)
