Same here! It's 28 now. I'm waiting until it reaches 35 or until my groceries are delivered and I'm headed out for a walk.
Monday I'll start my program downstairs at the fitness center. I've been given the okay to use the bike......slowly and not for too long. It's a start, but everything has to start somewhere.
My younger, much younger, sister has been on my case since I was hospitalized. She wants me to get back to the things I once did. Today I even put on earrings.......something I wouldn't have been caught dead without two years ago. Once I got to work without them and put paper clips in my ears. Yeah the kids thought that was hilarious. After that I left a pair at work.

My wife is after me to start working out too.
We have a thing that when we are 90 we still want to chase each other around the bed. I won't tell you what we will do once we catch each other.....

You'll fall on the bed exhausted and sleep.
I haven't been active since I quit working. At work I was always on the move. The picture of the teacher sitting at her desk all day didn't apply to me until my knees starting acting up.
I hope to volunteer at a school where I know the principal and literacy coach (or whatever they're calling them now). I want to teach mini-lessons though. I'm not the tutoring type. Since I still have a valid teaching certificate there's no problem with me taking a class. All I have to do is to update my police report.......oops, I forgot about that.

I'm packed up and ready to run off for the day. I called one sister last night and she has gotten a hold of all the other sisters and our momma looks like we are gonna party by the pool tonight.
I heard about the last party. Didn't they arrest all of you and place your kids in foster care?

Erm .. not being all political or anything, but last I heard Bush was going to bomb the Canary islands in an effort to wipe out bird-flu.
I think I'll stick with plan A just for now.
