Yes yes yes...as a woman who spends time in the chats and actively chats with men, off camera and on...Profiles and messages matter! Here is my strategy that really almost eliminates booting: I only chat on a laptop. I put the chat screen in its own window. Never open any tabs there. I've had it last for more than an hour and a half without a boot. When running the chat in tabs it can boot every 5-10 minutes even if not changing tabs. Of course you could always use some other service to chat at as it can be a real mood killer and the other chatter may disappear while you're trying to log back in to Lit.

I have used an old phone dedicated to just the chat but it even boots you when the screen times out and goes dark.

Sadly I don't find any rapport in the forums. Been reading a lot, going back in time quite a bit, commenting a lot. Joining in the random messages thread from another Litter. Which is a shame because in this format depth and quality of writing can really come out and you can truly get to know someone. It's a massive time investment for no return in my case. In chat I can connect every day with someone different (although I'd rather connect with the previous chat partners especially when we spend hours clicking).

Maybe the forums need some kind of "Connect This Week" sub group? And people actively looking for connection can more simply find each other. I see some random posts here and there when a woman says she'd like to chat right now, or later tonight. I think that would be helpful especially since here you can review post histories and see if you like that person by doing some easy homework.

I have met many wonderful people via the lit forums and a lot have indeed turned out to be a solid long term relationship and become comfortable enough to move it off platform to a more suitable app.
