Ha! It never occurred to me, it was quite fun to do, an effect that solidifies the edges of the image while being able to make the rest partly transparent. Then a kind of random image behind. I also rotated the original through 90 degrees.

Well, it looks quite nifty. It reminds me of a batik print, or screen printing on tie-died fabric. Very nice.
