She couldn't help but feel that spark run through her body when he hand accidentally brushed his. He was older than her by almost twenty years but she couldn't help but find him attractive. And when he spoke to her, he looked at her like she was the only person in the room and she liked the way that felt. She had to remind herself that he was married and even if he wasn't, he would never be interested in her.
She hoped he didn't want to make conversation because she knew it was becoming dangerous to be around him. His cologne was intoxicating and she kept picturing him shirtless. She had to be insane. Some of the lunch crowd had emptied out so she couldn't make the excuse she had other tables.
"You sure know how to make a girl feel special." She said but laughed realizing it sounded like she was flirting with him. She swallowed hard, feeling as if her body was on fire. He made her all sorts of flustered. "I'm here a lot. I moved here for school but to be honest, I can't stand this town. Most people here are too preppy and self obsorbed for my liking." She explained to him a bit. "Fun? What's that?" She joked but it was true. She was pretty lonely and maybe that was why she was attracted to him. "In the warmer weather, I play some rounds of tennis."
She realized she was rambling on. She figured he regretted coming in for lunch. "Gosh I'm sorry, I'm probably boring you to death." She said as she bit her lip and tucking a strand of hair behind her ear, something she did when she was nervous. She was only in her twenties but she's like to think she was mature for her age but Mark made her feel like a nervous teenager.
