Do any of your stories arise from masturbatory fantasies?

Wrote something based off a fantasy I use to jack off? No, not really. I don't really jack off either.

If any of your stories arise from masturbatory fantasies...

What percentage of your output arises this way?

Do character and plot accompany the fantasy from the get-go?

If the fantasy only has enough plot to account for the setting, do you add plot later, for the sake of publishing? Sometimes? All the time?

I've just written one story here (not thought up in any masturbatory manner) that is sitting in Pending Hell. I'd say that for me, it could very well happen someday. Likewise, I can start a fantasy, days, to even a week before it becomes a masturbation event.

It just so happens that the one story I've written, erotic I mean, was sparked watching a YouTube cooking video. The creator said, "Slap her face down in the pan and get her hot".

My stories almost always begin with a situation I've experienced IRL, then go their own way. Some are pretty hot. For example, in a story I started yesterday that I sincerely hope doesn't demand to be turned into yet another novel-in-progress, a real-life acquaintance has taken a fancy to me and wants me to cuck her husband, with his approval.

I'm not sure how to respond. I mean, I'm currently unattached, she is fit and notably attractive, and I am (perhaps understandably) flattered, but this would be a first for me.

I'll get a story out of it one way or the other, that unless this becomes a regular thing I imagine will become someone's masturbatory fantasy. Perhaps even mine.

All of them. If I am writing about it I have gotten off to the nucleus of the concept in advance and decided to flesh it out.

No, not really. My stories are mostly plot-driven. I work out the details of the plot first, then insert characters and sex. Sometimes fantasies get worked into the stories, but the story always develops before the fantasy.

100% of my stories are some variation of erotic fantasies I have. I figure, if I don’t think it’s hot, it’s unlikely I can write it in a way that others would enjoy.

Hard to say. My sex scenes are often integral to the story, more often than not plot devices in themselves than simple "time to jerk off" moments. Since I seem to have a voyeuristic side, being the one "watching" and describing the action is more often than not more arousing than writing self-insert fodder. If I had to pick one gratuitous scene which definitely was a self-insert, then it has to be the tentacle-sex threesome in the middle of "Express Delivery." That arose from a medicine-induced fever dream I had after I ended up with two herniated discs in my lower spine. Bucketfuls of painkillers make for some weird inspiration and when it came to cook up some spice for that particular story, I went out of my way to make it as graphic and steamy as possible.

Most of the time, I would say so. In what I write, plots and character development (if they exist at all) are usually secondary to the exploration of the fantasy or scenario itself, and are only there so I can reasonably call it a "story." 😂

Occasionally, I have written stories that explore a common fantasy of mine from a different angle than normal. For example, I wrote a story called Bound Company which is focused on straitjacket bondage. I don't fantasize about this scenario in the specific way outlined in the story per se, but thought it was fun to attempt writing it anyway.

I don't have anything submitted to the site that started off that way. But about half of the stories running through my mind did, and I have written some of them down. They're just not polished enough to submit yet. Usually with those I think up a scene to masturbate to and then go, "Okay, how did they get there, and what happens after?" So even when I feel compelled to write them down, they've been taking a bit of polish before I think they're worth showing to anyone else.
