Simple question for my fellow authors. Do people know you write erotic stories? Is it common knowledge like you don't care what people think? Is it a secret no one outside the Internet/your readers know? Is it a secret you share with someone special? Just curious about it.

When I was younger I wrote stuff while I was in high school and shared it with 2/3 girls I knew just to get their opinions, but since then I haven't told anyone. It's a dirty little secret But then in high school my stuff was pretty vanilla. Nowadays it's much more taboo/dark.

My daughter in law knows. She is my best friend, and we know more about each other than anyone in the family knows about either of us.

Most of my stories are stories. Romance, adventure, Sci-fi. I tell people that I write and there are scenes when things are getting hot, I don't turn off the lights like other authors
