do you have a favorite commercial?

sorry if this has been done. I remember for awhile someone had a thread about how creepy those BK commercials were, but I don't remember one about ads that people like.

2 come to mind right now. the first is for a new pregnancy test by clear blue easy. nothing really brilliant about the commercial, but the tagline cracked me up. "the most sophisticated piece of technology you'll ever pee on." (as a stream of "pee" lands on the end of the stick.)

I don't remember what the other one is for. I just know that a woman comes home and walks into a surprise party. she's obiously scared when everyone yells, "surprise!" then her hubby jumps out with the cake and yells, "happy birthday!" she screams and kicks him in the nuts. ouch!

awww... I think those are funny! I think they aired out of order in our area, tho. I saw the one where the caveman was upset about the slogan long before I saw the one where he is going through the airport and sees the poster with the slogan on it.

Creepy BK commercials? The Football Commercials With the KING? Those are the greatest. Even the other commercials with waking up with the KING for breakfast. Good times.

My new favorite is the OLD SPICE commercial with Bruce Campbell. Sitting in a chair and then walking across the room talking about "experience" and sitting in a chair is a room that is a mirror image of the other side of the room.

I like the Carmen Electra Taco Bell commercial where this guy's friends are teasing him about saying he broke up with Carmen Electra...and she is on the other side of the doorwall...begging him to take her back. Don't know why but that one makes me giggle.

Also, I laugh every time at THIS commercial...when he says, 'is it Earl...cat got your tongue, Earl got your tongue?", I laugh every time.

I haven't seen this one, but I'd love to... somewhat of a bruce campbell fan. I just saw on imdb the other day where he has a movie in production called my name is bruce. plot outline: B Movie Legend Bruce Campbell is mistaken for his character Ash from the Evil Dead trilogy and forced to fight a real monster in a small town in Oregon. sounds pretty interesting. have ever seen bubba ho tep?

haven't seen the one with carmen electra. it always makes me wonder why they might show a commercial in one area of the country but not in another.

the phone commercial is funny. there's another one where the dude is talking to his future father in law.

I didn't see it during but saw it this morning on one of the 'news' shows......

the Block Buster commercial with the bunny and hamster and the little squeaky mouse........last line the mouse says "don't even think about it".

Cracked me up.

I liked a lot of the super bowl commercials... I read a couple of articles in the paper today about them. as usual, anheuser-busch ads were the rated as the best ones... supposedly the one with the crabs worshipping a cooler with 2 bottles of bud light sticking out of it (looking like a giant crab) got the best rating on usa today's ad meter, but I thought it sucked. the one with the auctioneer doing the wedding vows was funny and I also liked the one with the scary hitchhiker.

of the non-beer commercials, I thought the beard combover was pretty funny, the two guys kissing was pretty shocking and funny and gross and the careerbuilder.com ad with the guys going all gladiator-style to fight for a promotion was good, too.

I'm probably forgetting some, but those were the ones that immediately came to mind.

well, I can't really say that I want to see it again, but it didn't really bother me. it also wouldn't stop me from eating a snickers if I wanted to.

I was surprised that they had the balls to go that far, tho.... so to speak... and also surprised that there wasn't anything leaked about the ad before it aired.
