I hate my first and middle name!
My first name is Misty, I've posted that a few times here, and everyone I talk to calls me that. The meaning isn't bad but put with the meaning of my middle name makes me laugh. It sounds to made up to be real...

I do like my name, it isn't fancy, but it suits me. My dad named me & I have met only a few people who have the same middle name as I do, although my first name is fairly common for women born in the late 50's. I use an abbreviated version of my name at the other board I hang out at.

Yea, actually I've always liked it, but I answer to almost anything these days...
although for a while I thought about telling people my name that I liked to be called was my middle name, right when I went to college and made new friends. Strangely enough, that's the name Willful and I did give our son.

lol! Mine too! I was named Angelique after the witch in Dark Shadows hehehe, but that was my biological name and I was adopted at 4 weeks, so I didn't know it until I turned 18. I love the name I grew up with, it's pretty, but for some reason my mom always called me Megan...which is absolutely nothing like my name. Still, it holds a very special place in my heart.

I normally get called all my cousins and brother or sister's names before my Grandmother gets mine right. Hell, sometimes she even throws in one of my aunts' names in there. "Jody, Kris, Marky, Teddy, Rosemary, ahh, Nickyyy"

Someone I know was named Vicki after a character on that show. Her last name was Daniels. Great initials, huh?
To top it off, her middle name is Gaye.
She was destined to have a troubled childhood.
When I picked baby names for my darling girl--I was careful to not have stupid initials or names that rhymed with cuss words.
That girl (I had an untrasound every week of my 3rd trimester) came out with the biggest set of balls on any newborn. I had stopped picking boy names when my "girl" was confirmed. I had to pick his name on the spur of the moment. I ended up giving him stupid initals that I did not realize until too late.

Yeppiiiiiirrrrrrrrrr I like my RL Name too. Those of you who *know* me know it. And it is not Chuckus or Chuck....but I do like it as it is unique in its truest form. I have an initial for my FIRST name and a whole name for the MIDDLE name. Messes with peoples heads alot. Ha Ha Ha....
