See, that's what I don't get.

Ketchup on fish is okay but not tartar sauce?

Granted, most of my senses are dulled.

My eyes are quick for reading and such but they're not worth shit without my glasses. My sense of smell is minimal and thus my taste suffers, and I'm not really very good at processing haptic/tactile information.

(Is it any wonder I love to play characters with heightened senses?)
 
I ate it with nothing but the cornicopia of herbs & spices I lovingly caressed it in.

the kids, who bitched & moaned about eating fish, have a much less refined taste.

also grilled some portabello mushrooms out there too. The hickory smoke gives them a wonderful flavor.

green beans & corn rounded out dinner.

now tomorrow, it's a manwich night

No, she's just slumming it with Kirt 'till Kyle gets his head out of his dark place.

(But no, I haven't read it, but this is the first comic in aaaaaaaaages that I have on hold for me every month at the local comic shop.)
 
I'm unfortunately falling hook, line, and sinker on Kirt. Levitz is giving the character more depth than I'd like. I have this sick feeling that Paul's got plans to make Earthman a fan favorite then have him betray the team.

That does seem to jibe with my vibe on this.

Though I'm glad he didn't keep The Green Lantern Ring. That didn't sit well with me.

I did sort of like the merging of his costume with the GL uniform though. As a secondary aside on the Kirt/Shady relationship, I wonder if Mon might be due to show back up. Mon-El vs. Earthman for the gorgeous blue chick.

Eh. I'll grant you the cool GL uniform design. Except based on Kyle Rayner's experience, I thought The Ring bestowed a standard-cut uniform at first and GLs would customise it later. Jumping straight to an Earth Man-style uniform seemed... premature. But the costume itself wasn't bad.

I would pay to see Mon-El (it's weird to punctuate that with a hyphen and not an apostrophe) clean Kirt's chronometer.

But I would also sneak in and grab Tasmia while the dudes were busy slinging testosterone. Yow.

See, I find the apostrophe the weird punctuation;). I cut my teeth on Mon-El and met M'Onel much later:D. And oh how I'd have loved cutting my teeth on either version of that big guy.

This is why "Legion of Three Worlds" was such a god-send.

I got to enjoy seeing blokes and birds that otherwise I'd've been too late in the game to appreciate.
 
Day one of the Eastern flight. The refugees managed breakaway from the State of Oppression and made landfall at the first scheduled lay over. Much to the chagrin of the refugges we found the car carrier's electric hook up for lights and such had come free and the coupling slagged by road rash. We have delayed departure for a day to rest relax and let the U-haul mechanic fix it for us.
