Does it bother anyone else...........................................................

I'm a registered board member

and the original "Unregistered" had a very good point. I know and have debated with all of you at some point, with the possible exception of the Muffster, whom I have done and SRP with in the past. Because I chose to post as an "Unregistered" being, there will be those who chose to invalidate anything I say. This is not a flame at Cheyenne, as I said I have debated with her on numerous occasions, that being said, it is possible to note inconsistencies in one's behavior and not hate that person.

Cheyenne you have supported board members in the past who have maybe one or two posts. If a troll registers does that make them less of a troll? Think on Magic Merlin and Kid Rock, then get back to me. Or don't. Because I posted as unregistered and not my usual Starlet self, you might just ignore me.

Unreg,

From my past experience, these folks can be a forgiving lot. The key words being "can be" (go to my very first post :) ) You need to pick a nickname, we like to know who we are talking to. There are always going to be those that disagree with you. There will be those that say mean things 'cause they can. There will be those that are nice...just like RL. You can't be liked by everyone, but you will be liked by more if you pick a nickname. Good luck and hope to see you on the board! :)

So why not post as your usual Starlet :) self? My answer is the same either way.

Yes, in my book, once you register and even if you have only one or two posts, by definition you are no longer a troll. Your definition may be different than mine, but I think a troll is anonymous. On the other hand, I reserve the right to use the word "troll" as an insult whenever I want. Think woodyviagra. :D Sometimes it just fits better than "fucktard."

Neither Magic Merlin or Kid Rock were/are trolls when they post as themselves. Magic Merlin is king of the snakes. Kiddyrock just doesn't exist in my world at all. If he did, I'd say he'd be closer to snake status than troll status.

So, let's review my personal definitions one more time:

Troll = anonymous, no balls poster (with a few exceptions)
Snake = registered poster who slithers, lies, hurts people, etc.

Welcome

Hello Unregistered,
There is a lot of fighting and carrying on, but if you avoid the shirt stirring posts or simply do not take them seriously, it is easy to have fun. Don't be afraid of not being liked, but as a general thing, you should register a name so you at least have some identiry. It is hard for anyone to relate or talk to an "unregistered" or a lack of identity.

Welcome to the board and I hope you have fun here. As for the fighting, watch and laugh.
