Dominion: Out of Character (OOC) Thread

So we have LordMikel and Aussie's character flanking Josephine. Confused as to cripples role and where he is. At her feet, pet like?

Josephine is wearing but a robe, she is surrounded by two men, one on each side of her. My character you can tell by looking at him, he knows about security. The Prince is a bit further back, more in shadow, giving him more of a mysterious look.

I hope that helps.

I assume much of what cripple92996 writes is more going on in Prof. Edgeway's head than in the actual story-line itself.

In this case, Prof. Edgeway would actually be trapped with Maurice, Karen and Mary in the grand parlor, as I assume it would take somebody to help him up the stairs to get out of there.

Eventually his character wants to talk to the chef, he was confirming you still played, else he wouldn't have to worry about it.

Yes seems Nubian has slowed down again as has Dawn.

Do you think I offended Nubian Legend?

As a reminder:

Here it is.

Please understand, Nubian Legend, that I mean nothing personal against you, or even your character Maurice, by the rejection. I am simply role-playing Josephine as I believe she would act under the circumstances. I try to play my characters with consistency, and that is how I believe Josephine would react to what Maurice said.

Myself, I truly find both your character and your posts a great contribution to our story!

His posting history is limited with upwards of 7 day hiatus. I'm thinking it is not you. I doubt anyone takes character remarks personal.

I agree. He has been absent from other threads I am involved in, in which he is as well.

I do not think it is you oh Empress of my heart. LOL. (Must keep in Character)

I will help the good professor out of the parlor and give Mary and Maurice some privacy.

Making an Assumption.

cripple92996 and I just did a long and I thought excellent series of posts, starting
here and ending like this:

Karen had to again kneel in front of the wheelchair to remove Professor Edgeway's slacks and underwear, and then to work his bathing suit up his thin legs and onto his hips. She averted her eyes as best she could. She did not want to make him feel uncomfortable by looking directly at his penis.

Having lost her virginity only the night before, Karen still found male anatomy a bit of an exciting mystery. She remembered how touching Uncle Ian's and Mr. Builtmore's organs made them move and grow under her touch, almost like an independent living thing. Now, having gotten Professor Edgeway into his bathing suit, she saw that he had developed an erection, making the fabric of his shorts rise up like a little tent. The heat this caused in her loins shocked her.

She appreciated his kindness. She admired his intelligence. She sympathized with his loneliness. She stayed on her knees and felt herself blushing as she looked up into his eyes and asked, "Is there anything else for which we need to check your breathing before we can do it?"

He was excited but couldn't show it the Godess would kill him if he inflected his fucked up bod on Karen. No thanks dear

"No thanks, Dear," Professor Edgeways replied simply to Karen's lurid suggestion. She assumed the highest virtue motivated his denial, and felt ashamed of her own lust. His morality simply made her want him more, but she refused to show it, lest he discover just what a dirty mind she had.

"You're right, Professor, of course," she mumbled as she got up from her knees and went back behind the wheel chair. Silently, she wheeled him back to the elevator and took him down to the bottom floor, from where she could move him out onto the lawn and down to the swimming pool. She felt relieved that he could not see the tear of shame and disappointment that tumbled down her left cheek.

Karen darling I WANT YOU SO MUCH!

To me, that last post seems inconsistant with the two before it if Prof. Edgeways is saying "I WANT YOU SO MUCH" out loud.

Earlier in this thread, Jo noted:

I assume that is what is going on in cripple92996's last post above. In other words, Professor Edgeways is thinking "I WANT YOU SO MUCH" to himself, but Karen does not know it.

What Should I Do?

Nubian Legend hasn't posted in a month. He hasn't even been to Lit in almost a week. I am getting tired of just cooling my heels. On the other hand, if he returns suddenly, I don't want to have left him in the lurch.

What is the proper protocol for this situation?

Just write a reply which gives you an excuse to quickly disengage with them. People going out to the pool creates a bit of a buzz from another room. Strange voices and accents have you curious enough to stop what you're doing and investigate.

Did Ian stop by the room and announce new comers or pool party.

They can play along and catch up if and when they reappear.
