Why do you say that? Is it because you don't like Don Lemon's politics?
The court that ruled arresting him was a violation of the First Amendment could see it was obvious. No, it's because it's not clear whether he was more involved
Ok.The court that ruled arresting him was a violation of the First Amendment could see it was obvious.
Of course that won't stop Trump from having the reporter thrown in jail.Ok.
If the courts rule one way or the other, I'm ok with their rulings.
I just don't see a clear indication with the evidence I've seen. I think there's some ambiguity there.
As a prosecutor, I likely wouldn't have brought charges.
The DoJ brought charges, yes.Of course that won't stop Trump from having the reporter thrown in jail.
It's bogus. Trump pardoned the people who stormed the Capitol because they were on his side. He's going after Don Lemon because he's on the other side. The DoJ brought charges, yes.
Again, I believe there is merit to charges. And most analysis I've listened to also agrees with that.
Just not as cut and dry.
Ok. You're just throwing shit at the fan now. It's bogus. Trump pardoned the people who stormed the Capitol because they were on his side. He's going after Don Lemon because he's on the other side.
Trump's not even pretending to care about justice. It's all about his latest sundowning brain-fart.
President of Honduras convicted of drug trafficking? Trump pardons him.
President of Venezuela, accused of drug trafficking? Trump kidnaps him.

You have to admit that Trump's Department of "Justice" wouldn't be pursuing Don Lemon if the reporter had been a MAGA sympathizer and his reporting from inside the church had been condemning the protesters.Ok. You're just throwing shit at the fan now.
I get it.
I'm not defending the DoJ. I'm not defending Lemon. You have to admit that Trump's Department of "Justice" wouldn't be pursuing Don Lemon if the reporter had been a MAGA sympathizer and his reporting from inside the church had been condemning the protesters.

You're pretending to be "fair" and "even-handed."I'm not defending the DoJ. I'm not defending Lemon.
However you need to explain my position is fine. I'm not arguing with you. You're pretending to be "fair" and "even-handed."
I'm glad. For a moment there, I thought you might be disagreeing with me.However you need to explain my position is fine. I'm not arguing with you.

Glad to hear it. Keep up the good work.I am disagreeing with you.
ThanksGlad to hear it. Keep up the good work.
Ok. I was commenting on the Twitter J6ers.
I have two solid positions on this event:
1. Protesting in a church is illegal and should be prosecuted. There are some ambiguities, but there shouldn't be.
2. If Don Lemon was part of the planning of the protesting I a church, in any way, he should be prosecuted for his role. Participating in such an event is not journalism.
That being said, I don't think it's obvious that he didn't participate.
I don't have enough information to determine his role.in other words d lemon was only doing his job as a independent journalist
I don't have enough information to determine his role.
He could have been, correct.
