Dorothy in Oz

The Good Witch would fit into your balloon fetishist’s story, in that she turns bad when somebody pops her bubble. ;)

we have a balloon fetishist?

This is a great concept. It could be a very pleasant writing experience. Have you considered using it as a sexual role playing thread?

Lit guidelines:

"No sexual activity involving bestiality (you can write stories about supernatural beasts like ghosts, unicorns, werewolves, etc.)"

so, to a literalist, the snake is not mythological, so would be taboo.

but to a wiccan....

Well, in a "Garden of Eden" setting the snake is part of Christian Mythology and symbolized temptation and the devil. I've never seen a real snake talk.

If someone believed real monkeys flew, that would scare me too.

I think there's a story idea in there somewhere....someone in an asylum cause of delusions about The wizard of Oz? Then the new nurse is named Dorothy....

You might be onto something there. Play it kinda like American Magee's Alice. That could easily get very twisted and very entertaining.

Cool idea for a story but why hold back. How about writing erotic versions of the following:
1) The lion the witch and the wardrode
2) Snow white and the 7 dwarfs
3) Rumpunzle
4) Cinderelle
5) Return to Oz

I would have included Sleeping Beauty but the one by Anne Rice is just to good.

HeHe have fun doing you own lists......

Alice in Wonderland has a lot of potential also.
But I really like the idea of an insane Asylum. Though I think Dorothy should be the one who is insane.

She thinks that she is in this magical place and sometimes she's dreaming it all up and sometimes she's interacting with real people. Like the wizard could be her psycharitrist <--damn I screwed that word hard. Brain doctor. Trying to cure her of these delusions. And Glinda could be one of the nurses who shows up to feed and clean her. And the Wicked Witch could be one of the other inmates or maybe just a complete fabrication. You know go look up some big psych word that means this is what she made up to reinforce her dellusions.

As for the Lion since he is a talking upright standing anthromorphic lion he would definitly work under the mystical rule. As for the flying monkeys personally I think it would slide but a lot of times with lit the only thing you can do is post and see if they kick it back. If they do you either A edit it until they accept it or B put a note up that says the prior chapter wasn't accepted if you want to read it contact me and I'll get it too you and go on with the rest of the story. or C erase it completely.

I wrote a misguided farce on the "Oz" tale once upon a dreary night with twisted song lyrics. Perhaps Lit' needs some more versions of the tale.

What say ye creative ones?
