I heard on the Fox news tonight that when they went through Douglas Adams will there is a clause{sp?} in there that all the books he every published and were printed and distributed are to be recalled on his death and burnt.

Has anybody heard about this? If it were true would you comply if you had one of his books, would you send them to his estate for burning?

Alright Fox news update, they were misquoting there sources.

But still if your favorite author or musciain or whatever recalled thier works would you comply?

It's a moral dilemma isn't it? I'd probably photocopy the whole book then send it to the pan...

I got 'the ultimate Hitchhiker´s Guide' (starting with Hitchhiker´s guide to the galaxy) - what do you think is going to make me hand it over so that it can be burned?

No I would not send the books into be burnt and heres why...

1. Burning things is bad for the planet.
2. Burning books is what ignorant fanatics do.
3. Mr Adams work has brought a lot of joy to a lot of people why should that end just because he's dead.
4. This whole thing feels like a joke and that's all I think he ever meant it to be.
5. I liked those books enough to buy with my hard earned cash and I know that one day I will reread them, and I don't want to pour more money into the pocket's of big business.

Isn't the phrase "Fox News" an oxymoron?

Is that what you call everything that does not support a pro-democrat anti-people agenda ;)
