Jaysie laid back, floating on the rolling swells in the ocean. She was floating just in that sweet spot, where the waves began, but weren't ready to break yet. She could feel the sun kissing her belly and thighs and she moved up and down on the waves.

This. This was absolute heaven, she thought to herself. She had just graduated college, and was taking a whole week, spending it on right there on the beach. She had always lived close, within an hour, of the ocean, but she felt she hadn't barely gotten there recently from being so busy. Now was her chance to just relax and enjoy the salty air.

Sighing, she sat up, and began to slowly tread water towards the shore. She was ready to go back and lay on her towel, reading a book. She walked up onto the sandy coastline and glanced left, then right. Spotting her towel a little bit down the beach, she headed back, only to realize as she got closer, that the small bag with her with her ID, phone, and book in it, was not there. Her heart began to race.

"What the fuck" she muttered as she dug around in the sand to see if had gotten kicked somewhere, but couldn't find it.

She called out to the lady right down the beach from her, and asked if anybody had been around her blanket, explaining why she was asking.

"Oh my," replied the lady. "I did see a young man with tattoos on his neck and face near there, but I didn't pay much mind to what he was doing... I'm so sorry!"

Groaning, Jaysie thanked the lady and headed towards the lifeguard stand to report the theft. She could only see the side of the man's head as she approached the stand.

"Excuse me?" she called out above the soft roar of the ocean.

Nick Spencer 23/m

Nick had just finished his first year teaching Math at a large high school about an hour from the beach. Now, here he was, back doing something he had done every summer since his Junior year in high school. He was lifeguarding. He loved being on the beach, and it had been a great summer job all the way through college. He hadn't really expected to continue it after getting his teaching job, but as it got closer to the summer break, he decided it would be a good way to stay busy during the summer.

He climbed down out of the tower. H is partner stayed up top. Nick surveyed the water from the edge of the water. He said hello to some of the regulars. He knew a lot of the people who frequented his beach as a result of his many years working the beach. Of course, one of the advantages to this line of work was that he got an opportunity to check out all of the women from behind his sunglasses. He was an equal opportunity checker outer. He checked out the MILFs and he checked out the college girls. Of course, he checked out everything in between also.

Nick watched a woman floating on the ocean. She seemed at home out there, but he kept an eye on her none the less. He wanted to make sure that she did not run into any trouble. After scanning the ocean a few times he noticed the woman who had been floating coming back to shore. He watched her walk by him. She was short, but she had an athletic body. He smiled at her, but she just walked right past him. He returned his attention to the ocean and those in the water. A couple of minutes later he heard someone say to him, "Excuse me?. Nick turned and saw the woman whom he had watched walk past him just a couple of minutes before.

Jaysie waited until the lifeguard looked down at her, and her heart skipped a beat. Jesus, he was gorgeous. For a split second, she almost forgot what she had come over there for, but then it dawned on her. Her phone, and everything else in the bag, was gone.

"Umm, hi" she said with a smile. "I was just wondering... you haven't by any chance seen a man with tattoos on his neck and face go by here have you? I was out in the water, and when I came back I noticed that my small bag with my phone and other belongings is missing, and the old lady next to my towel said there was a man who matched that description hanging around there earlier but she didn't think anything of it".

Jaysie's green eyes looked up at the handsome man, silently begging, wishing, that he would say "oh no, a concerned citizen handed us the bag when it was found"... but she knew that wasn't likely at all.

Nick looked down at the woman and listened to her story. "No, I am sorry. I haven't seen anyone like that come past. I have been looking out at the water, and the only person that I saw walk past me, that stood out in my mind anyway, was you when you walked in out of the water." Nick smiled at her.

"Let me call my supervisor, and we can see if anyone else has seen him along the beach. They will ride along the beach looking for him, and hopefully find him somewhere." Nick got on the walkie-talkie and called the supervisor on duty. The supervisor said he was going to notify the police and that they would dispatch the jeep to look for anyone fitting the description.

"Okay. They are looking for him now. Why don't you give me your information for my report, and try to relax while they look for him. If he is still on the beach I am sure we will find him." Nick handed her a pen and a piece of paper to write down her information. As she was writing down her information, Nick took the time to check her out more than he had when she walked by. She was even more attractive up close.

The fact that this gorgeous man had been checking her out didn't go unnoticed to Jaysie. It flattered her and she felt a soft pink blush working its way up from her chest to her cheeks. She wondered briefly if he would be working every day during her vacation.

Jaysie was disappointed when the lifeguard said they had not seen the man who supposedly had stolen her belongings, but she was glad they were being proactive to try and help her. She had expected more of an "oh, well, tough shit" kind of reaction.

She quickly wrote down her information for the lifeguard, laughing when she wrote her phone number.

"That number won't do much good unless I get my phone back" she said, smiling at the man. "My name is Jaysie, by the way" she said. "Thank you for helping me out... I really appreciate it".

"Hi Jaysie. My name is Nick. Sorry we have to meet under these circumstances. I guess this number is only good if we find the guy with the phone, huh. If we don't find him, you will have to stop back and give me your new number...... For the report of course." Nick smiled at her and winked.

After putting the report on the lifeguard stand, Nick happened to look down the beach and he saw the Lifeguard Patrol jeep stopped and the supervisor out talking to someone. Then he heard on the radio a report that they thought they had the guy. Nick smiled at Jaysie again. "I think they caught him. Let's take a walk down to where they have him. It is only a short distance.

Nick checked with his partner on the he stand and told him that he was going to walk the woman down to where they had the guy. Then, he turned, and walking next to Jaysie they walked along the waters edge to where they had the guy with the tattoos and a phone and other items that they were sure didn't belong to him. "Is that your phone and other belongings, Jaysie?"

Jaysie laughed softly when Nick mentioned needing her new number if she had to get one... for the report. Her eyes traveled lazily over his body as he turned to listen to the radio. Ripped muscle, a healthy tan from being in the sun a lot... someone she wouldn't mind getting to know at all.

When Nick turned back to her he said that the beach patrol thought they had found the man, and did she want to walk with him? She nodded. "Of course!" she said.

Together, they walked off down towards where she could see the van sitting and several men gathered about talking. Immediately she could see that the man did indeed have tattoos on his neck and face just as the lady beside her had described.

Once they were closer, Jaysie could easily see her bag sitting on the Jeep and her eyes narrowed. Nick asked her if the items were hers and she nodded, not trusting herself to speak because she would probably cuss the scum who had stolen her items out.

"Its mine" she finally said, glancing over at Nick who was frowning slightly. Their eyes met and Jaysie couldn't help but smile though. Butterflies fluttered slightly in her stomach and she wondered if he was possibly single. Probably not. A man like him had to have a girlfriend... right?

Nick was happy he could help the woman, and he was also happy that he would have to spend some more time with her....finishing the report and doing the addendum that was required as a result of actually finding her stolen items.

"Well Jaysie, I am sorry to tell you this, but you are going to have to come with me to Beach Patrol Headquarters. We are going to have to do more paperwork. He will be turned over to the police there. I will complete all of the paperwork and turn it over to the police. That way you won't have to go to the police station....unless you would rather give your report directly to the police."

Nick looked over at the thief and then back at Jaysie. "If you want me to do the report, we will walk back and get the rest of your stuff off the beach. I have to get my shirt from the stand, and then it will only be a short walk to our headquarters." Nick turned and started to walk toward where Jaysie's towel was.

"I'd much rather skip the police station if that is at all possible" Jaysie replied, smiling at Nick. "Having my stuff stolen wasn't exactly the way I wanted my vacation to begin". She rolled her eyes playfully.

She was secretly thrilled to have a little extra time to spend with Nick, hopefully so she could pick up some hints as to whether or not he was single, or had a girlfriend, or wife for all she knew. He looked to be about her age, so that was a good sign, at least.

As they walked back towards her towel, their arms brushed briefly and she pretended she didn't notice, when in reality, her whole body tingled in desire. "So," she said, looking down at the sand under her feet. "Do you always lifeguard here or are you new? I used to come down here a lot, but college really seemed to get in the way and I haven't been down in what seems like forever".

As they walked Nick made sure that he brushed her arm. He wasn't normally the kind of guy to do that, but there was something about her that he found extremely attractive. He glanced over at her when their arms brushed, but she didn't acknowledge it at all. Maybe she was in a relationship.

"I have been life guarding here since I was in high school. Did it all through college. Just finished my first year teaching, and thought about taking the summer off to just enjoy some free time, but then I decided that there was no better place to spend my summer than on he he beach. I have been at the same stand for the last 4 years. Not sure which beach you came to, but I am pretty sure I would have noticed you if you had been in my water. I noticed you today." He decided to continue to flirt a little until he was certain that she was not interested.

Jaysie blushed slightly as Nick mentioned having noticed her that day. She glanced over at him, almost shyly. She was used to men hitting on her, but she was NOT used to feeling attraction in return to them. Her mind had been focused on school for so long, she wasn't sure if she remembered how to flirt, she thought with a slight smile.

"You're surrounded by hot women everyday, I'm no different" she said smiling at him, trying to make light of the situation. "I used to come to this area a lot, but not really for the past few years. I was in college for my degree in business administration... Never really had time to come down between work and school". She shrugged.

They reached her towel and she gathered it up, along with her drink and few other things there. She turned to face him. "So... where is this headquarters?" she asked, following him as he headed in that direction.

Again their arms brushed, and she grinned at him. "Seems to be a magnetic attraction between our arms" she joked. "Do you have a girlfriend, Nick?" she asked, deciding to be bold and just put the question out there.

Nick enjoyed walking along the beach with Jaysie. There was never a shortage of good looking women on the beach, but there was something about Jaysie that Nick really liked.....she was not just good looking, but she had an incredible body that was well taken care of, and she carried herself well.

"I am sorry. I didn't mean to keep bumping your arm. I will make sure it doesn't happen again." He smiled at her as he pointed off the beach. "The headquarters is just two blocks down. It isn't a long walk. To answer your question...no, I do not have a girlfriend. Had one in college but we drifted away. For the last year I have been preparing for teaching and then finally teaching this past school year, so, my social life has been kind of non-existent. I was hoping that it would pick up this summer; now that I am through my first year of teaching."

Nick walked with Jaysie toward the Beach Patrol Headquarters. He enjoyed her company, and he didn't mind looking at her either. He took his time, because he was not in a hurry to part ways with her. Once they arrived, he took her into a small room, had her take a seat, and then went and got her a bottle of water. He got the paperwork needed and made idle chat with her while he completed it.

Jaysie couldn't help but smile when Nick mentioned being single.

"I'm single as well" she said. "Its hard to maintain a relationship with all of the classes, tests, obligations of college". She shrugged. "Like you... hopefully it'll pick back up though" she said, bumping him purposefully with her shoulder.

They were at the headquarters in minutes and she quickly filled out the required paperwork. Once she was done she glanced up at Nick.

"All done, I think" she told him, handing him the papers, their fingers brushing, and her wondering if it were on purpose on his behalf. She glanced at the clock.

"Jeez... its already five. No wonder I'm hungry. So much for my relaxing day on the beach" she said laughing. "Oh well, there is always the rest of the week. What time do you get off of work?" she asked him, just making idle chat.

He laughed at her when she bumped him. While she sat finishing the paperwork, he kept glancing up at her....admiring her beauty as well as her wonderful figure. He had to admit that this was not the worst way to spend the day.

"Yea, time flies when you are having fun, doesn't it. If ever you want the day to fly by you should just have some tattooed dude steal your belongings. I am scheduled to finish at 6, so, it isn't too long now. I just have to go out to the stand...make sure it is far enough off the surf, and put some equipment away, and I will be able to call it a day. I am sure there will be plenty of great days left this week for you to enjoy our beach."

Nick thought about asking her to hang out with him tonight, but he wasn't sure how professional that would be. After all, she was the victim of a crime on the beach. Despite the fact that they had flirted with each other, Nick wasn't sure it would be appropriate to ask her out.....even though he would love to spend more time with her. "I hope to see you back on here beach this week. Put your towel closer to the stand next time, so that when you go into the water I can keep an eye on it....while keeping an eye on you too, of course."

"Put your towel closer to the stand next time, so that when you go into the water I can keep an eye on it....while keeping an eye on you too, of course."

Jaysie laughed and nodded. "I believe I'll do that... I like to people watch while I'm on the beach anyway... and who better to watch than you?" she joked back as she stood from the chair she had been sitting in to fill out the paperwork. "I'm gonna go get a shower and grab a bite to eat. Hopefully I will see you tomorrow" she said, smiling softly at him.

"I hope the rest of your day goes better than it has been so far... this could not have been fun for you" she said gesturing towards her belongings.

"Well, enjoy the shower, and I hope you enjoy whatever you decide to eat. I must tell you, however, that today was a pretty good day. I got to help out a beautiful damsel in distress....help her get her belongings back, and also spend some additional time with her. How is it possible to improve on that?"

Nick smiled at her. "And just think...because of all of this, she might move closer to the lifeguard stand the next time she comes to the beach, and instead of ignoring me the next time she is on my beach, I think she might say hello to me." Nick laughed a little, smiled and winked at Jaysie.

Jaysie walked toward the door to head back to her hotel room. Glancing back over her shoulder she smiled at Nick. "Maybe she will" she said, with another wink, as she headed outside. It only took a few minutes to get back to her hotel room. She was on the 23rd floor of a large hotel, and she had a balcony room.

Walking outside, she glanced down at the beach and noticed she could see the lifeguard stand where Nick worked. She saw his partner still there, and she saw Nick making his way across the sand towards the stand. Butterflies floated around in her belly at the sight of him again and she rolled her eyes at herself.

Would she move closer to him tomorrow? Damn right she would.

With a laugh, she hung her towel on the railing to dry, and then walked inside, stripping as she went, to turn on the shower. Once the water was warm she slid beneath the hot spray, using her hands to soap up her body, from head to toe, rinsing away the sand and grit of the day.

Once she had washed her hair and body off, she stepped out and began to dry off. She couldn't help but look in the mirror and try to see what a man like Nick would see... a tight stomach, toned, if not long, legs, a body kept in good shape from going to the gym, as well as pert breasts... a good handful, and a nice, round ass. Not bad, she thought.

As she toweled off her hair she thought about dinner. Finally she decided to skip going out. Instead, she slipped on an oversized tee shirt and ordered room service. A couple hours later, after vegging out in front of the tv watching a chick flick, she yawned and flicked off the light. She wanted a good night's sleep so she could get out to the beach... early... as soon as the lifeguards were there, tomorrow.

With thoughts of a sexy lifeguard in her head, Jaysie drifted off to sleep to the sound of the waves crashing outside her door.

Nick went back out to the stand for the end of his shift. His partner have him a hard time about how much he was willing to help out the hot chick and how he would not have been near as helpful if it had been a guy or an ugly woman. Nick did not disagree with him. "You are just pissed that I was the one she came up to and not you."

When they were finished and had everything put away, Nick walked back to headquarters, signed out, and went into the locker room and changed into his running shorts, shoes and t-shirt. He then ran home. It was a short run but it was enough to work up a good sweat. He went into the house, up to his room, undressed and into the shower.

After getting out of the shower he dressed and decided to go get something to eat. He hoped that he would get lucky and pick the place that Jaysie went to. He knew it was a long shot, but it was worth the try. He went into a spot along the beach, looked around, and didn't see her. He stayed anyway. After eating, and a little disappointed, he went home and called it a night.

Jaysie awoke the next morning around 8:00. She felt refreshed and a smile crossed her face. There was nothing like waking up to the sound of sea gulls and the ocean outside. She slowly got up and walked out to the balcony where she sat down, propping her feet on the railing. Her t-shirt slid down her thighs and she laid her head back and sighed. It felt heavenly to wake up and not HAVE to do anything... except be to the beach by the time the lifeguards were arriving.

Smiling at that thought, Jaysie got dressed and headed down to the hotel restaurant where she had breakfast at the bar area, along with a Mimosa, next to an older gentleman who said he was there with his wife, who was still asleep. They made idle chat as they ate their meals, and then Jaysie said goodbye before trotting back upstairs to change into another bikini.

This one was a little skimpier than the one from the day before, revealing a little more flesh, a little more swell of her breast, a little more curve of her ass. She WAS NOT wearing it for Nick she told herself. She would have picked it anyway. She knew she was lying to herself.

Glancing at the clock she saw it was late enough, and headed down to the beach, chair, towel, book, and phone in tow. She stepped out onto the sandy beach and noticed, with glee, that Nick was there, dragging his chair closer to the water. She slowly followed along, prepared to set up her place close to him as he had suggested.

Nick went home and undressed and went to bed. It had been a long day, but it had also been a good day. As soon as he hit the pillow he was sound asleep. He slept through the night and awoke to his alarm at 7 o'clock in the morning. He dressed and ran to work. Once in work, he went into the locker room and showered and changed into his swim suit and his beach patrol t-shirt.

Once he was ready, he walked out and looked for his partner. He didn't see him, so, Nick decided to head out to the beach and get the day started. He carted out his equipment after checking the tide schedule. Once out at the stand, he dragged it closer to the water. He set it in place, filled the bucket with water to keep the sand off the stand, and set out all of the other equipment.

Once everything was ready, he noticed his partner strolling up. Nick made a comment about his timing. After they joked for a minute, Nick noticed a woman heading toward their stand. Then a smile came across his face....it was Jaysie.

Jaysie saw the moment when Nick noticed her. A smile crossed his face which brought a smile to her own face. She approached him slowly, then bent and sat her things close enough to the stand that there was no way anyone would move between them, but also closer to the water so he could "watch her" as he had said.

Looking up at him she smiled again. "Good enough spot for you to watch my... things?" she asked, fully aware that his partner was standing there.

"I wouldn't want anything to get stolen again, of course" she said. She glanced at his partner. "I'm Jaysie" she said, holding her hand out for him to shake.

Several other people were on the beach by then, but not nearly as many as there would be. Jaysie moved to spread out her towel, making sure when she bent over, she did so with her ass facing Nick... just because. Then she set up her chair. With a quick glance back at him, she turned and began to walk down towards the water.

Nick watched as Jaysie walked toward him. She was obviously taking her time, and he had no problem with it at all. Nick also noticed that the bikini she was wearing was a little more revealing than the one she wore yesterday. Nick had no problem with that at all. She was looking so hot.

Tom introduced himself to Jaysie. Nick's partner was more than just a little jealous of Nick, and he was also very happy that Jaysie was setting up so close to them. Nick was happy he had his sunglasses on. They at least hid some of the fact that he was checking her out. It probably didn't hide much. There was no doubt that Jaysie knew he was checking her out, especially the way she bent over and showed him her ass.....and what a fine ass it was. She was certainly getting his attention, and she was going to make it hard to concentrate on anything but her today.

Jaysie took her time down by the waters edge, not ready to go in yet, so she just let the waves lap against her feet and legs. The waves were a little rougher that day and she doubted she would be able to float too much, but she still loved the ocean, regardless. It gave her a sense of peace, of calm.

Finally she turned and walked back towards her towel, and consequently, the lifeguard stand.

"Waves are a bit rougher today" she mentioned to Nick and Tom. "People better be careful".

She sat down in her beach chair pulled her book out, placing her sunglasses on so she could people watch without them really knowing... one of her favorite pastimes down to the ocean.

"So do you guys get a lot of action doing your job?" she asked, meaning saving lives, unaware of how the comment could be taken to mean with the ladies as well.

Nick watched Jaysie as she stood at the water's edge. There were very few people on the beach, and there was nobody in the water, so, it was not a big deal that he stared at her wonderful body....especially since he had a nice view of her tight ass.

"The rough surf will keep a lot of people out of the water today. You would think that would make our job easier, but it actually makes it harder because the people that go into the rough surf usually are clueless. They go out too far and can't get back to shore."

Tom responded to Jaysie's question about getting much action. He said that there were a lot of girls that he dated that he met on the beach. Tom smiled at Jaysie. Then Nick said, "don't mind him. He is a bit of a pervert. We get enough rescues here. Not a ton of them, but we probably will get 3 or 4 a week during the peek of the summer." He smiled at Jaysie. "Don't mind Tom. He is just mad that I got to take your report yesterday."

Jaysie laughed out loud when Tom mentioned getting dates on the beach. She hadn't meant that at all and it was obvious Nick knew that she hadn't because he answered the question she had meant to ask. Tom had become preoccupied talking to a couple who had come to ask the lifeguards a question about the nearest place for brunch so Jaysie crooked a finger at Nick, beckoning him closer.

Once he was close enough, she leaned in and, her lips brushing his ear, whispered... "Well... I did go for the most handsome lifeguard on the beach".

With a smile she picked her book back up and pretended she had nothing more flirty then hello. She watched out the corner of her eye as Nick got up on the stand to start the day. After a while, the sun had risen high in the sky and a light sheen of sweat coated Jaysie's body.

Standing, she set her book down and glanced up at Nick.

"Dont let me drown, k?" she asked with a smile as she walked down towards the ocean.

Slowly, she waded in until she waist deep, but after that the waves crashing were huge so she decided not to venture any further. Instead, she ducked down below the surface momentarily before standing again, water pouring down her body, instantly refreshing her.
