I know that it’s possible they were, but many feel icky to me.

Many of the celebrities photos, especially, feel like they were taken by paparazzi and are even less likely to have been consensual.

I am beginning to reconsider my participation in this.

This is a thread to post pics so perhaps I am doing disservice to others. will keep this really short. Overall, I am with you on the consensual part when it comes to regular people.
But celebs? I feel they do know what's happening or could happen, they are a public figure and we live in a voyeuristic world. Maybe they don't care? Just an opinion that could be misplaced, I acknowledge that.

Maybe they do care and maybe they don’t. We can’t know. We could probably do a whole bunch of research into the history of the photo, but we all have better things to do.
I don’t believe that being famous - whether that’s because you are a politician, athlete, artist, actor, musician, etc doesn’t negate your right to privacy. Choosing to be naked in a movie, photo shoot, etc isn’t the same as consenting to upskirt photos or nip slip photos being taken and/or published.
The images of celebrities bothered me much less than the rest, to be honest.

Mostly my point was, it’s one thing for us ladies to post photos of ourselves that we’ve taken. It’s another to blast photos of people you don’t know - ESPECIALLY those that don’t look like they were taken with the subjects knowledge.
 
I shared this story on another thread about a year ago. This pic reminds me of one of the women in my old neighborhood. She was in her early 20's and me in my early 40's. We both got home from work about the same time, and she would catch me as I was walking my dog. She had much nicer breasts than this, but she would kneel down and pet my dog every time she saw him. My dog was super friendly with her, and in return, I would get this view at least once a week. She would always look up at me like this, and I am certain that she was aware of my view. That never stopped her. We would carry on a normal pleasant conversation, but I think we both knew that she enjoyed having me look.
