So almost everyone is sleeping during the night shift, so basically our job is to do some mild cleaning, setting the tables for the morning, laundry, and doing rounds which involve changing briefs/bedding when necessary for the folks who don't have control over their bowels/bladder. The residents also have pendants that they can push to call us if they need help with anything, like how the hospital has a button next to the bed. There's a lot of heavy lifting if you have to reposition someone, or help them get up if they are able to walk themselves to the bathroom, or, and what's killing my back lol, is basically rolling them onto their side in bed so that you can...ya know, get in there and get them cleaned up. >_>

I thought I would be more embarrassed, but like, after the first day, it doesn't feel much different than changing a baby. Well, I mean, they're adults who can verbalize and still require that respect as an individual, but on the basis of changing diapers...yea xD

Huh, well it’s good that it doesn’t phase you. I think it’s great when people with good senses of empathy and compassion are in roles such as these. I know there are people out there that treat those people like inconveniences and it really rubs me the wrong way. :/ We all will get old eventually if nothing happens to us, and all of us deserve a sense of dignity and non-judgement.

My friend didn’t hurt her, but she rolled her eyes, treated her with annoyance, and wasn’t super gentle with her. We’re no longer friends after having drifted apart.

Sorry not responding much to the rest, fucking beat. Almost had a post done [it's in my email so we're good] but then shit hit the fan. I just now clocked out and am sitting in the break room eating haha, didn't even realize I forgot to take a lunch...heh.

Now I get to go home, nap, do a 5 1/2 hour shift, go home, nap, and come back here for the fun all over again

I’m not as concerned about your replies to me (though I’m always excited to see a reply of yours), but it sounds like you might end up being run into the ground with a schedule like that. :/ Thank god it’s only for two weeks.

Yea, I had like a solid three or four days off from the gas station shift, and I only have 4 days here next week. So not so bad honestly.

Edit: Last night was just a hard shift at the senior place. Or maybe not hard, but long, and understaffed.

lol, he is indeed high as hell XD I'm still debating if I want Quint to give him a dirty look for trying to get friendly with him, or if I want Quint to explore it, thinking that maybe Damien is trying to manipulate him into letting his guard down.

Either way, Angelique spilling the beans is definitely going to start melting Funny Boi's heart in regards to Damien. I think the scene I want to do between him and Vin, will be his last ditch effort of hanging onto his anger.
