So we had a bit of a scare with a family member, but seeing as they are back home now and, for the moment at least, ok, I thought I would share it encase anyone else might find something useful from the info.

The covid made them so sick from vomiting and diarrhea that they became extremely dehydrated and unresponsive and had to go to the emergency room. Another family member had been taking care of them, but because they couldn't hold any food down, their body didn't take any liquids to hydrate from the stuff like Pedialyte. Any liquid they took in was just going right through them, and this was also made worse by the heartburn medication they were taking.

So if you happen to get sick, or know someone who gets sick, watch that shit. See if any medications can dehydrate you and ask your doctor right away about them if you start puking.

So...ugh. That was lovely to hear about. Still waiting on our own results, but I'm damn near positive we have it, because everyone who went to that damn dinner has tested positive. And hell, maybe they already had it before they even did Thanksgiving and just didn't know. Only like three people have actually shown any symptoms, but they are SICK as dogs.

<_< That update is low-key disturbing, really not having expected to hear those symptoms. I hope that family member is okay and continues to be. I'm really hoping that you and hubby are asymptomatic if you have it so you don't end up having a bad time like that. It's really worrying. :/

As the rest, yea... I mean, one could argue that, going untreated, the flue could get you this way too. Except that...ya know. We have medicine to treat the flue and make these symptoms less dangerous. And we have a vaccine for the flue. Can't uh, can't treat covid yet.

Speaking of (kind of), I was considering having Sayori give Quint a scare by not waking up until the antidote is given to her, but I thought that would be too cruel.
