I FINALLY got someone to co-write as the female lead in an idea I have been sitting on for MONTHS and what do I do in a brief moment of questionable lucidity and completely undeserved impatience??? I tell her it's "not working out." I feel more fucking DUUUUUUUUUUMB than someone who broke up with a lottery winner. FUCK ME CLOCKWISE AAAAAGH. So. How was YOUR day?

Sometimes it takes quite a while to find anyone to write with you, and sometimes even then, it still doesn't work out.

A lot of people on this site. Yeah. And yet only one responded favorably to my idea in the first place. Yes, my reasoning, warped as it was, could have been ascribed to excitement and the pace seeming torturously slow. And different flavorings of the advice of "there's plenty of fish in the sea" is also torturous to hear right now, no offense. It just seems inadequate to make me feel better. Woefully inadequate.

Sorry bout that. I guess what I should have said was that, sometimes it takes time to get an rp partner, more time than we like. I have been dropped countless times over the years, or simply had things not work out, for whatever reason. It is very frustrating but what are you going to do?

@Sean: Yeah, I get what you mean. Regret is one of those things that just really makes one want to kick themselves. At this point we'll just have to wait and see what happens. Even if they say no though, that doesn't mean that you won't find someone else. It just may take several tries and time. I know that doesn't make you feel better now, but I'm just saying that it doesn't have to put a full and permanent stop to what you're trying to accomplish.
