I am also anxious as fuck. *chugs chamomile also* It's pretty much orange here now and the smoke is so thick... :/ I'm trying to hold it together but something about this fucking stinky twilight makes me so on edge. I may just try to hyper-focus on video games today to help, but it's like my brain is telling me to run but I can't. It makes my stomach want to flip. Anyway, I just have to keep telling myself that if we need to evac, we'll get plenty of warning before we need to go.

Yea it's really fucking hard not to give into that panic cause it's such a basic fear. Smell smoke? It's dangerous, you need to leave.

But yea. I kept getting really jumpy all day when I heard sirens, and it doesn't help that were understaffed (from crew having to evacuate)+getting more business cause were one of the few places open. Today was just a clusterfuck and I only wish I hadn't packed my laptop away. Maybe I'll dig it out tomorrow. But hey, still got my phone, so that's something. Thumbs might be a little sore, but I'm feelin you are the games. Need some kind of distraction.
 
Exactly, it just puts you on high alert. I had to stop myself from looking out the windows to keep myself feeling a bit more grounded. There are so many people whose homes have been reduced to ash, and I have family that stand to lose their houses too. It's just a fucking mess.

It sucks that you have to work thrice as hard now. :/ Hope customers are at least showing some decency toward you.

Most people are being pretty decent, though it gets hard (and scary) hearing the people talk about losing their homes, or having had to leave and not knowing if their house is still going to be there when they go back :(

But aanyway...just gonna bury myself in distractioms for at least a bit. Maybe some Gardenscape :D
