By the way, if Quint comes along with them, I’m sure Angelique will recognize Quint from having sensed him before. Because of that, I’m not sure if she would “play” with him out of a need to be on Kuznet’s good side, but I haven’t decided. I also think she would recognize Cora’s name since she’s Kuznet’s legally adopted daughter. But... if Kuznet lets Angelique reach out to Quint, or she does it on her own, Quint can think fast and introduce Cora under a different name.

Edit: As for the trade/energy... hm. I’m not sure when a good meet-up time would be . Perhaps they can tentatively say a week? I think a combined project for nuclear power is great, but Angelique will be a bit cautious with it since she dislikes the idea of a meltdown.

I’ve been playing around with the idea of Sayori getting bitten while Quint’s gone. Like she goes out to practice at night and gets attacked while Robert and Cody are sleeping and they don’t wake up and get to her in time. I’m thinking she’d somehow be able to get away and climb up a tree. She might even lose a couple fingers.

Kuznet would have to be careful about that. She knows that if he gets a larger brood than herself, it could mean danger for herself if he ever decides that she isn’t useful anymore or that he wants to replace her. She’ll do it to stay on his good side, but she’ll establish boundaries. Besides, she’s going to be a bit curious about how he’ll raise them. I think the drugs are a really good resource- who else would be able to get him drugs now? In that way, I think it’s good enough to trade for just them, but Kuznet seems like the type to always want the best deal for himself.

I think Angelique is also smart enough to know that she needs to get supplies from him while she can before he changes his mind or “eliminates his competition.” I don’t think anyone knows that they’ll be humanoid yet. Angelique has the “instinct” on how to raise them, but not even she knows what exactly will happen.

I had a thought, actually. What if Sayori gets bitten, hides in the tree, then some people come from the town and take out the zombie. Maybe she overhears them talking about the cabin and how they’re going to “do something about that bitch in the cabin.” Because of this, Robert and Cody don’t sense that anything is amiss, and it’s just assumed that Sayori is sleeping in. Quint arrives in the morning hours later, wants to see her, and discovers that she’s gone. Maybe he asks around and no one knows where she is, but Kyle mentions that she’s up most nights (being the only one who has bumped into her some nights). He knows her smell really well, so he finds her in the tree, going through the zombie sickness, and brings her back. What do you think? Just a general outline, but we could totally change it if need be.

Oh wait, are we assuming this happens at Demaris's cabin? Cause I don't think Jameson and our soldier boys are going to be there. I'm thinking Jameson won't want to risk Kuznet knowing he's alive, and having not had enough time to prepare to take him on, I don't think he'll go with Sabastian/Damien/Vin when they go to get Cora. I'm also imagining that Tommy will basically be hospitalized for a good minute, so he won't be able to join, even if he wants to, but I'm thinking Jameson would be more than willing to help Sabastian and Damien get started off right with whatever supplies he can spare.

Actually, maybe the reason they go to Damaris cabin in the first place is because they head back, only to find that Jameson has had to move his camp, for whatever reason, and they can't find them? What do you think of that?

Okay, well then we would just remove Kyle from the equation and Quint just follows his nose until he finds the little bird in a tree. I totally forgot that they basically move to go join Jameson’s camp later. My brain just lumped them in together. Derp.

I’m also totally cool with it just being a main-character raid to get Cora, especially since it will require tracking. Ooo! I like that idea! That would give them the perfect reason to go to the cabin! Maybe they end up bumping into Jameson later (down the road) by chance? Like they wander were they shouldn’t get guns pointed at them until someone recognizes them.
