@Nouh: Shit, in my excitement for the RP, my eyes totally missed your reply. T_T my apologies, my good man. Not only am I splendiferous, I am also the derp master.
Drobabes, I never thought I wuold ever feel any kind of excitement about cockroaches, but I am legit excited for you that your little buggy babies are coming!
I also understand the lure of the "I'll just start one more RP..." It's so hard to resist!
I mean, to be fair, even though they are technically cockroaches, I still see them as being different enough to not get that heeby jeebie feel XD Their size, combined with how slow they move and not having any wings, makes them pretty chill to me. And some of the morphs they have are beautiful. I'm getting a pair of black and yellow ones.
@Poprockz
Indeed, the inspiration is heavy today >_> I haven't wanted to write this way for a hot minute, and being able to stop every few sentences and go work on that other post is pretty nice. I don't know, but I've always been like this when I'm trying to write 'story mode', I can't like...sit still. I'll do a few sentences, go look at something for a minute, then come back and add a bunch of detail to those sentences XD
Repeat the process for like three or four hours and I made get a whole page done XD
Edit: Oh, so, the little betta tank I got came with a lid, but seeing as it was a lid meant for an aquarium, it didn't quite fit my needs. So I basically heated up a knife over my stove, repeatedly melted the plastic until I could pop the middle out and be left with just the frame of the lid (to fit the tank), and now I'm going to superglue some metal screen mesh over that. That way, I can put a low watt UVB bulb on top and have real plants grow in the tank.
I mean, the UVB isn't -needed-, but I prefer more naturalist set-ups, and this will help with heat, keeping the humidity from getting too high, and letting the bugs get some natural (almost) light.
I took the wood out of the middle because I didn't like how it looked, and the plants are getting a bit more filled in. But you can see around the top of the lid where it's kind of jagged? That's where I cut out the plastic with the hot knife.
Lol, naw, I just really like building things and I watch a lot of aquarium/terrarium channels on youtube. Serpadesign specifically is fucking awesome and he has BEAUTIFUL set-ups
