I wonder if Sabastian or Quint will ever tell Vin about that... I imagine Quint would be the type of dude to say really embarrassing shit at one's wedding if given the microphone.

I can just imagine him randomly popping up to Sabastian and saying shit like, "Wasn't that scramble that Damien MAID earlier super delicious? It really MAID my mouth water."

I feel like Quint is like some kind of prankster God, empowered by the forces of laughter and embarrassment.

I actually had a little game plan behind his "open-ness", in that, he'll willing spout off more information than is probably needed, but in reality, he is pulling a Fran and being very careful about what he says. His headspace behind it is that, if people (Kuznet) think that he is always being honest and the type to simply overshare everything, then it will be much harder for them to catch him when he is actually lying.

Which, I'm wondering if Damien will pick up on that, in time

Oooo, that is an interesting strategy. You know, I've heard that people are more likely to believe a lie if an embarrassing comment comes with it, so maybe that's similar. Damien is smart boi, so he might be able to figure it out. What Quint might lie to him about though... Who can say?

Quint is definitely a very gud boi. He will take good care of the Sayori. Although... I can't imagine him being super serious, so I can't imagine him actually having sex without cracking some kind of joke.

You know, I was thinking about what Quint and Kuznet were talking about regarding Cora being drugged and all. If Sayori decides to talk to Quint about it, or if Quint brings it up (after being forced to listen to it), he could tell her that it wasn't her fault. Like maybe since Cora still believes it was her own fault, he'll want to make sure that Sayori doesn't feel the same way.

Oh yeah, Quint will definitely want to alleviate her guilt. Cora's just... Harder to talk to, although that's partly because of their relationship too. She can't quite listen to Quint/hasn't been able to listen, but she doesn't really believe that she didn't have some level of control over herself, and because she feels like he's saying it out of responsibility. Cora will honestly have a very hard time getting over that last little hurdle of hating herself until the beast is actually dead and she truly feels free.

Hm. That's a good point. She would probably feel like he was saying that to not only alleviate some of his own guilt, but also just to make her feel better. :/ Kuznet is so good with the mind-fuck that she probably believes at least one or two things he snake-whispers into her ear.

Oh man... When Kuznet is finally gone, I wonder how they'll feel. I mean, they'll be relieved of course, but I wonder if they won't feel that same sense of emptiness that Damien felt after his parents were dealt with.

I think they will feel different (actually happy) because they had started out with parents that loved them, and felt like they were stolen away from that.

But I do wonder if Quint will have an easier time getting through to Damien when he tries to help him not hate himself Quint took the therapy (and Sarah's help) a lot more seriously than Cora. Or rather, he kept at it, where as Cora got discouraged and kind of gave up.

As for Damien... I'm not sure. By all rights, he would never expect Quint to have anything but hatred for him. He thinks he deserves it too, so he would be a bit baffled if Quint ever tries to convince him otherwise. The difference between himself and Cora is that he really did have a choice. His parents were dead or comatose, and he could have chosen to follow a different path. He had money, power, and good looks. One could argue that he was never given direction, nor told that there was a better way to live, but he truly believes that there is no redemption for him. :/ Quint would have to make a real convincing argument, and it would take more than one try.

I will say though, that Damien will have a bit of self-loathing lifted when they discover that Quint is alive. He was carrying a lot of guilt over having had Cora when everything went down, thinking that he might have been the reason Quint died.
