Yea...it's like having the flue. I could sleep for a restful 8-9 hours, get a few good rem cycles, or I can sleep for 15-18 hours, it will still feel the same. It's why I am basically addicted to coffee, though I'm sure it doesn't really help except to just keep me from collapsing at work XD

If there is one thing I have learned-drop the money for a good bed. Holy fuck it does wonders when you do get the good sleeps.

Hm... That is pretty fucked. I imagine that the coffee is like a beacon of hope for your sleepy brain. Makes me think of that video you posted a while ago about sleep and how sometimes coffee is what triggers your body think it needs to be "awake."

Hey so I am going to just assume that everyone active here already has RPs that are full, and/or do not wish to begin another, but might I make a suggestion? If there are any secondary characters (except the villains, lol) that have a larger role in the RP than a run-of-the-mill NPC, perhaps I could step into their role(s), simply to allow you awesome people more brain power and time to focus on your own PCs? Feel free to decline, of course, but the offer is there should you decide to take it.

@Sean: I don't know about Drobabes' opinion, but personally I would rather keep the Rp "Morning Coffee and Sweet Surprises" between myself and her. It may see counterintuitive, but having more people in an RP can be tiring since you have to think about what each person might do. I also just feel like that should be a private RP.

Other than that, I'm typically a one-partner per SRP lady. More often than not, I enjoy having an SRP with only one other author involved. You might give "Perdition" a shot, but keep in mind it can be slow at times.

I might suggest also that you create an SRP profile for yourself and put it in your signature. That way, people can scope you out and get a feel for your kinks, limits, personality, and ideas. The forum on it can be reached by clicking on my SRP link in my signature if you're curious.

I will keep all of that in mind; also, I was merely offering to play a third character that is central to the story but not to the sex, like the Elven prince in Nouh's RP. Well, that may be a poor example as someone who is central to the story, but you take my point.

I get it, and I’m probably more open to the idea of a multi-writer RP than Poprockz here, but I’d want to start it out that way from the beginning. Poprockz’s suggestion of an SRP profile is a good one. Go do that. Also, the “seeking writers and inspiration” thread is useful in two ways. One, you can post there (with or without an idea of your own—also, go post in the “introduce yourself” thread in the lounge) and see if someone reaches out to you. Two, you can trawl through old messages and reach out to the people who have posted that they’re looking for writing partners. That’s how I started a lot of my RPs.

As for the non-central character idea: if a character is not central, like Tarilon, then I don’t really want him to have too much agency. If he’s doing too much stuff, it’s easy for him to get in the way of Darian and Talia’s story.

That said, if you’ve got your heart set on being in a multi-partner RP, make that your “seeking” post and see what interest you get. Depending on the other writers and my schedule, I might be willing to take a slot if you want me to. Just remember that more writers means both more people who can disappear and more people left behind to be sad when someone disappears.

Yeah, I get where you're coming from. I'll just stick to twofers and leave the preexisting ones be. I guess my enthusiasm to be part of something, even in a minor way, sort of overrode any kind of common sense. TTFN.

Yea, I don't mind the idea of that too much Desperado, as I have been in a few rps before that have done that on occasion, but I don't currently have any except for Perdition, which you are more than welcome to join if you want. I can't guarantee I'll make a post in there any time soon, but that thread is always open.

I got a hair up my ass a few weeks ago and started something in there, and while I wouldn't mind trying to finish that little side quest, I think it's going to be a minute before I'm back to feeling myself. But there is that going on if you wanted to try and join in on that, or like Nouh said, check out the Seeking Writer's thread.

I'm thinking all these little things from tonight will weigh in on him later when he is trying to make up his mind about Damien. He might not remember it right away, but when he finally simmers down and starts to think, he'll try to think back on how Damien acted around them, and these memories will start popping up.
