East Coast Friends

Hi all

I’m interested in really connecting with someone — for fun of course, but also something more serious (not like, marriage, but more companionship).

A bit about me: I’m 33, divorced, and I live on the east coast. After the divorce, I moved back in with my mom and her boyfriend… not super cool or good for dating lol, but it’s been nice and it’s been great to have time to reset after everything. I’ll be moving back out in a few months. I’m a bit nerdy… I like things like game of thrones, the red rising series, Star Trek, etc… but I also enjoy sports, especially soccer but also football, basketball, and baseball. I like a drink out with friends every now and then, but I’m not big on going out to bars or hook up culture. I’m pretty quiet and a little shy first meeting people, but open up a lot to friends. But I don’t think most of my friends would guess I’m on here I’ve been reading the stories for years but only recently joined the forums


In my short time here I think I’ve learned a bit about the kinds of people that tend to resonate with me…

People who are thoughtful, attentive, enjoy writing, are interested but not pushy, like chatting via text, can do east coast evening hours, are creative and adventurous/kinky, and open-minded.

I connect less with… people out just for a quick hour or so of fun, ‘dom’ guys (nothing against you, but there are sooooo many of you and it’s fun every once in a while but not my main thing, so not a ton for us to connect on), guys who take a long time to message / aren’t that attentive while chatting, and people who are close-minded or vanilla. Nothing against you if you have any of those characteristics at all! It’s just I find we probably wouldn’t connect much and for married guys.. I’m okay with it unless it means you’re not around much or can’t spend a few hours chatting (which I think if you’re married is hard to do!).

Anyway, I’d love to connect with someone. If we don’t… best of luck out there, and the world is a better place with you in it!

Unfortunately, long experience of the Personals tells me that your inbox is about to explode with lots of the latter and their crude attempts at engaging your curiosity.
