So I like to laugh. Who better to laugh at than yourself. So if you aren't too vain, tell us some of your most embarassing mishaps or moments.

I was at the dinner table with an old girlfriend meeting her family for the first time. Everything was going well. Her Mom and Dad seemed to like me and her brother seemed pretty cool. We were chatting away about some random topic when I let out a horrendous fart. We were sitting on wooden chairs so it reverberated so loudly the neighbors probably heard it. The room went silent until her brother busted out laughing. I was horrified as were her family when the smell wafted through out the entire room.

Talking about my boss in the conference room at work, only to come out of it with him standing right on the other side of the door.

Not sure how much he heard but it was certainly embarrassing to say the least.

8th grade math class... Super hot girl in class had my full attention... Full on daydream going on and I get called up to do a math problem on the board in front of the class... Of course I have a full on hard on and am not wanting to get out of my seat... but I had too... I stood up, sort of fixed myself but still obvious... That got a few snickers... I was embarrassed for a while...

I was 14 and went over to a friends house for a pool party. I walked in the front door and saw everyone out back so I was waving at everyone and running to the back when I slammed face first into the sliding glass door. In front of everyone. Not my most graceful moment. Didn't break or bruise anything other then my pride, diginity, and self esteem at the time.

This was a bad one:

I went on a date with this girl who i met while she was singing at a bar. It took about a month for me to work up the nerve to ask her out. We went to dinner and some movie. During the movie my foot started to fall asleep. I am 6'5 and the theaters used to not have near as much leg room. So anyway, my foot fell alseep and it started travelling up my leg to where my whole leg was tingling. It was like pins and needles.

I tried adjusting my position and finally the tingling went away. I had to go to the bathroom so I stood up. Took a step with the "good" leg and then took a step with the dead asleep leg. So dead it apparently just went numb. I stumbled and fell against a guy and girl sitting a couple of seats down from us. I tried standing back up and fell over again.

They guy asked if I was alright and i told him I thought I was going to be sick. He pushed me off of him and I literally hopped up the aisle as a lot of peope were laughing. It took me 30 minutes to gain the courage to sneak back in to the theater. People started laughing all over again. I was so embarassed.

Anyway the girl I was with didn't find it funny that I left her there for 30 minutes by herself with people whispering. We left and I took her home.

Did I mention I ended up marrying her????? It was out first official date when she said she knew she loved me, because even though she was upset at me for leaving she was amazed that I got the courage to come back into the theater.

On my first trip to Mexico many years ago I became friends with one of the guys (an American) who owned the small hotel where I was staying. He invited me to dinner one night and when I arrived he had a very young girl (didn't look a day over 14) with him. Seeing how he was in his 50's I assumed the young girl was his daughter. When I asked her if she lived with her dad here in Mexico or was just visiting she quickly informed me she was my new friend's lover. So much for first impressions.

I used to post a lot in the lingerie lounge thread.

One day this photo of a woman all "gothed up" was up, and she was wearing the most amazing brocade corset. I loved that corset. She had a lot of goth make up on, and while I don't care about goth makeup one way or the other, it looked not right to me, as far as that delicious corset went.

I posted, "love that beautiful corset, but the model is freakin scary".

The model posted the photo. lol OOPS. Typical K moment :D

OMFG! I have a few....where should I start (I don't want to take over the whole fucking thread)...

OK, working from amusingly embarrassing to KILLER embarrassing...

I was a new supervisor for clerical staff in my department. I was tasked with improving the efficiency of the group and had a plan on how to do it. I set up a first meeting with the clerks to let them know what I was planning and let them ask questions and voice concerns. All very supervisory-like.

I was about 1/2 way thru the discussion, with there being a lot of give and take over the changes. Some of the opinions showed some concern about things changing too much, while other comments were just people grousing. It was to be expected.

Then, at one point, the most senior clerk in the group - one that hadn't spoken up yet - simply stood up and said, "I just cannot take this anymore!" She then walked over to me with my legs crossed, reached down...and pulled an exposed corner of a ClingFree sheet that was dangling out of my pant leg......

The entire place falls down laughing at my embarrassment...meeting adjourned....

On my way to a meeting in NYC I stepped in a massive wad of chewing gum. Scraped (or thought I did) most of it off on the curb/street. When inside, after the receptionist annouced me, I stood, waiting for my contact. When he came out I went to reach to shake his hand and half tripped/half came out of my shoe which was stuck to their nice carpeting! Did get it loose and followed him to his office. Part of our walk was on a tiled hallway where the gum on the bottom of my shoe was sticking and making a clicking sound. Jeez!

Ahem -- posted a PM today -- sent it right off. Thinking maybe I said something a bit tooooo Bold. :D

I remember getting up to go the bathroom in the middle of the night to take a piss for lack of a better term.

We had gust over, lady walks in on me and said OH MY! I just kind of looked at her stupid and smiled ( I mean come on the lights where on in the middle of the night she had to have known someone was in the bathroom)

Sheesh -- you don't have to go to the closet to do that. Try in the elevator cause you can't make it to the lobby.

Damn. Last time I was drunk we watched a movie I can't remember what it was but must have been horror film. Anyway every time someone was kill off I laughed my ass off almost pissed myself.

Some people may not think this would be embarrassing, but as I am very shy it was to me.

When I was a paramedic for the prison system, I was sent to a unit just at turn out time (inmates must strip down naked before entering the unit), I had to walk through a double line of naked inmates and listen to all them whistle and tell me what they could do to me. I made it through without looking any of them in the eye, but when I got back to my ambulance my face was red.

I thought it was rude of the officer not to tell the inmates to turn out(look away). Some officers would have done that, but not that day.

Gotta love alcohol...lol

See the real trick when pissing on your shoes is NOT to piss on your pants. You can explain the shoes to the office in charge. The pants -- well -- no one's buying that explanation.

That had to suck.

Grocery store. Distracted. The soft thud of about 1000 oranges against the concrete floor.
