Exactly.. i experienced something similar going back to my ex after remarrying. There’s something about flipping the switch.. am writing it so there almost seems to be a personality transplant between the characters, the boss blackmails her for obviously selfish reasons and is overcome with emotions and attachment he is not expect, Erica is the opposite, she goes into it reluctantly but then something happens mid-way, she finds in the moment unexpected pleasure and this leads to selfish streak in her to use her circumstances to explore cheating and ultimately feelings for her blackmailer.
