It was then she heard a baby crying. So she followed the crying and when she found it. She opened up a door and it was a baby's nursery.

Finally When she got in the room, everything went quiet and she saw a child. A female child looking like she was about 3 years old, but she saw the child. It looked like it belonged to her and logan. Seeing her little arms reaching up to her. She grabbed the child in a moment. She started to nurse on a breast. It was then she got bigger about five years old. She stopped nursing and looked up at her with small eyes.

" Are you sure you can handle a mutant child, mommy? If you give birth to me, I will be the strongest mutant live once old enough. I will need you there to protect me, to nurse me, to love me and to make sure I do not learn to hate humankind." She smiled and she began to hum to the child.

When Lily woke up, she shut up quickly. She didn't know what that dream meant if anything. She was afraid of getting her hopes up too much. That it was just a dream that showed children because of both them wanting children. It was then she felt sick she suddenly covered her mouth while she gagged. Logan woke up to the sound of her throwing up. He rushed towards the source of the noise and shouted, “Are you okay?!” He pulled her hair back and helped her get it out of her system. “Are you sick? Let me take your temperature.”

She didn't mean to wake him up she knew that wasn't the issue. She figured maybe it was just because the dream startled her perhaps that was what was going on. She stuck the thermometer even knowing that was not an issue. He set her down and went downstairs to prepare some chicken noodle soup for her. As he waited for it to cook, he wondered what it could be that was causing this. “Maybe food poisoning?” He brought the soup up to her and set it on the nightstand next to her.

Logan was a huge sweet heart it's why she loved him so much, when she saw him come in he brought her soup. She placed it on her lap for a moment. "Thank you for this" she grabbed a pillow putting the bowl down and took a spoonful of the soup and ate some of it, it was actually great tasting soup. When he sat back down by her side she heard what he asked and was trying to recapture the dream. Sadly her dreams she remembered when she first gets up but later forgets, it's why she wrote them down normally.

She told him of the Dark room and in the black room a girl that started as an infant and ended as an eight year old. Asking her if she could pretty much stomach having a mutant for a child, then when saying yes she said she would have to love "them" not just her and vanished into a ball of light inside her body. She didn't know if she was pregnant but knew the dangers that hope could bring if not careful. She honestly did not know what to think..

He listened to her and thought for a bit. “Do you want a pregnancy test?” He was confused by all of this, asking questions like: Was her dream representative of real life? Is she actually pregnant, and if so how could she be gestating their child so quickly?

He kissed her cheek, “Let’s try and enjoy the day, it’ll help you feel better.” He sat beside her and began thinking. He was still shaken up by the fact that if she was pregnant, the kid was gestating inside her rapidly.

Lily had to think about this but shook her head, she wasn't worried about. She ate the soup and wasn't too worried about what all of it meant. She just wished she knew somebody that could figure out what was going on. She desperately needed someone with the ability to read minds. But there was only one thing that concerned her. And it was the feeling the child gave her. She had never felt anything like that before.

" I wish I could get ahold of my friends the telepath but probably be able to figure out what's going on. But I have to admit the feeling. The little girl gave me. I have never felt such power before, She had told me that her and her twin would be the most powerful mutants ever born." She could see the concern in Logan's face. She stroked his jaw running her fingers through the hair of his goatee.

" I think it would be good to get a pregnancy test but not to take right now, but to have on hand. And I'm not really worried about it Logan. I may have felt extreme power but. I. Also felt extreme love. I was asked to make sure that they did not hate humans. If this dream is our children's way of reaching out to me, then I would say our children are growing quickly and I don't know how my body will take that because I'm only human."


Thinking for a moment and then it hit her. Logan was part of the x men, so she knew of xavier. " What about Charles?" When she mentioned the name look on his face was priceless. " I may be human Logan but I have heard of Charles Xavier. He is part of that mutant school. Maybe he can Help us if not, find out if I'm pregnant already. But perhaps he knows somebody that we can trust to deal with our children. Because frankly, I would rather have a home birth whenever that happens." She finished the soup and slowly got up to start picking through a small stash of clothing she had in the bag.

She stopped for a moment placing her hand on her stomach. The thought of the possibility of being pregnant made her smile. Especially because she was told that she had a fifty-fifty shot. She never had a dream like this so maybe the dream was a sign. She got dressed.

He began getting dressed, “Xavier... I haven’t heard his name in 10 years...” He began to think about Xavier. He still remembered how to get to the school, after all he was part of the X Men, but it had been many years since he was needed for action.

“I’ve been working solo for many years now, I’ve completely forgotten what it’s like to fight with a team.” He remembered everyone else on the team, and how hotheaded he used to be.

Lily listened to what he said and smiled "yeah actually I can the way you took care of business yesterday when it came to protecting me." She got dressed using the dress from yesterday and a long sleeve black shirt she stole from Logan. She put her hair up in a pony tail and was ready for the day.

"Or do you have someone else we can talk to? I don't want to over step" Hopefully, she didn't say anything that annoyed him. She had no idea that it had been ten years since he had talked to him.

He had put on a gray turtleneck, blue jeans, and a pair of black shoes. He looked down at the floor, his fist clenched. “I was actually disbarred from the team for being such a hothead. I’d get into fights with my team, and was a huge asshole to everyone while I was at Xavier’s school.”

He took a deep breath, “I was told to go work solo in this city, since there’s a drug trafficking ring somewhere in this city. I know they’re here, but I also know this was Xavier’s way of kicking people out.”

He grabbed his car keys, “But, I’m willing to go see how the School’s been doing without me. I used to teach the kids how to fight, and take hits, I wouldn’t go easy on them either.” He took Lily into the garage where before them stood a black 2000 Honda Accord. It had dents, and bullet holes on the driver’s seat door. “It’s a bit beaten up, but she’ll get us there.”

She couldn’t help but smile at what he told her how he was back then. It made her feel good that he had changed, but the question was a good one. Was she the one that changed him because he had been living close to him for about ten years. If she changed him she was glad, or perhaps his age started to effect him? But she figured that she changed him and would think that until she was told otherwise. Walking with him she couldn't help but laugh a little when she saw the door and giggled when he said it was a "bit" beat up.

Once she got into the passenger side and sat down, bringing her legs into the car, shutting the door and putting her seat belt on. She wondered how this was going to go, she wondered if this was the right thing to do, but if anyone could get to the bottom of this was a telepath with great power. At least she could put a face to the name after this meeting. Her hands in her lap she watched as they made there way to the school.

She had no idea how her parents would take to this if they were alive, not that it mattered. Her parents were against them only because they were scared, which was something she knew. Fearing what one did not understand could be scary, she was that once. The twins helped her see lifted people were just like everyone else. Placing a hand right on his resting hand, running her fingers between his knuckles where the blades came out. She trusted him and feared nothing, she enjoyed being with him.

Her other hand on her stomach and before she knew it she fell asleep, she had another dream very similar to the one before. It had small differences because in the dream she was showing a little. It was weird but she declared her love for both children again, showing no hate or fear of mutants and when she woke up she saw the school.

"Holy shit this place is huge and old..." The gates opened up and she watched Logan drive up the driveway. She smiled seeing the kids hanging out, using their powers and beeing cheeky about it. A smile was seen on Liliths face as she had never seen such a beautiful place. Once the car was turned off she got out. She was so very eager to be here it was seen on her face and body language. She felt like she was the side show attraction because she was the human there.

She smiled as Logan came up to her she smiled up at him and she took his hand in hers and smiled. Walking up with him she heard something coming so she looked up and noticed an older gentleman in a wheelchair. She knew it had to be Charles Xavier. The way he carried himself it was esy to know, but she got a fluttering in her stomach confirmed it.

" Professor Xavier I presume" Lily said with a kind smile. "My name is Lilith Rose I hope you don't mind an unplanned stop"

Logan drove to the school, aware of what had happened 10 years prior. His right fist was clenched as he thought about how the encounter would go. His mind was racing with thoughts: Did I get replaced? Does Xavier want to see me again?

He saw Lily asleep next to him and sighed, he took a shortcut so they’d get there faster. He stopped the car in front of a giant gate, with an old looking building behind it, he paid the toll to be let in and parked.

Lily was awake by then, and was already talking to Xavier, Logan knew there was no point in hiding since Xavier could sense him. He stepped out, saying “Charles...Long time no see.”

She did not know the history with them but there was some tension in both men. Lily squeezed his hand showing she was there with him as they began to talk. They went to the gardens to have a private conversation and Lily sat down on a bench pulling Logan to sit beside her. She told Xavier about the dreams she had and he placed his hand on her stomach and closed his eyes. It didn't take long for him to open up his eyes and said nothing at first.

"I am glad you found a woman to calm you down, you don't feel and seem like the old Logan. And before you ask no you were never replaced no one can ever be replaced." He smiled a bit. "I can see why you came to me and it was very wise. Because she will need all hands on deck. The dreams you had are very real and I feel the twins growing within you as we speak, the problem is they have so much power they are growing very fast, faster then I have ever seen." Xavier spoke into Logans head.

"You both need to stay here so no questions will be asked, this will be a very bad pregnancy for her since she is human. Are you sure this is what you both want? I sense her respect and love for our kind I just fear she may come to regret it once the pain of there growth starts? I have never felt such power one will be stronger then Jean Grey when she was taken over by the Dark Phoenix"

He took a deep breath, “They’ll be powerful and they’ll hurt her?” Logan began to wonder if impregnating Lily was a mistake. “I worry she will get hurt, but I know she wants to have these children.”

He stood up and spoke directly to Xavier. “Who is teaching the students to fight hand to hand now? I gotta see if they’re teaching better than me.” He seemed eager to reclaim his place as the combat teacher.

Xavier smiled " Technically, all pregnancies are hard on women. Rather, they're human or not, but with the speed they will grow could cause some complications. But I can feel the love she has for children. Children she doesn't even know she has, but I am assuming that's why you guys are here to confirm that she is pregnant with your twins. Which she is I can hear two heart beats, I have never heard of children mutant or not getting hold of there mother like this but there is something.." Xavier sighed.

" I am assuming she know if you're mutant. She knows about the clause but does she know the story about why they're metal instead of bone? Does she know what the military did to you? I only ask because there's a 70% chance that your son that's within her body. Will have the same claws and healing ability as you do. And if that is the case A C section might need to be done and soon."

It was then Xavier heard his question and he shook his head no. " Scott was doing it but then stopped a few weeks ago. He and Jean are having a baby so he has been with her, Jean is high risk. If you need help to tell her about the military I can help Instead of telling her I can show her" looking at him he smiled.

"If you want to come back you would be welcomed."

Logan sighed, it was a memory he wish he had forgotten. “You can show her, it’s alright. If we’ll be staying here I want to take back my job as the combat teacher for the time being, I need a good fight.” Logan loved to fight, even more so than sex.

He began to stretch a bit, then cracked his knuckles. “My classroom is where it’s always been, I presume?” He smirked, “Don’t worry Charles, I’ll whip these kids into shape for you. But before that, let’s show Lily my story, how my bones got metallic.”

Charles smiled and nodded "yes You may have been gone for 10 years, but the class is still the same place and thank you." She watched both men and Lily felt something was going on. "I am with child aren't I?" Xavier looked at her and smiled. "Are you sure you want them Lily? It could be dangerous for you." Lily looked at Xavier and then at Logan, she was pregnant and she wasn't crazy. Lilith looking up at Logan and Xavier.

"For as long as I can remember I wanted children, I don't care what happens through this. I want to give Logan these children for him and for me, whatever happens it will be worth it. I want these children no matter the cost to myself" she smiled and then something else was going on.

"There is something Logan needs you to know, but instead of telling you he will show you, with my help that is" Xavier put his hand on Logans arm and reached her hand. Looking at Logan she was hesitant because she knew if he couldn't talk about it, that it was bad. She took Xaviers hand reluctantly and quickly was pulled into Logans head. She saw him strapped to a bed claws made of bone came out of his hands she saw the military pump some kind of metal in his body.

Every ounce of pain he felt she could feel some of it. She gripped onto Logans hand and was having a reaction to what she was seeing. She let go of their hands and shot up from the bench covering her mouth like she was going to be sick she fell onto her knees it was easy to see it was on purpose. She felt Logan grab her.


"How...." she said with tears falling down her cheeks "how can you love a human when a human did that to you, now I understand why you were always so rough...."

Logan sighed, “I served during the war, and when the United States heard of a soldier who could get shot with an artillery round and not die, they were intrigued. I was taken from the trenches, when I woke up I was on a helicopter, headed for the U.S. I had no idea what was going on, but after I knocked 3 scientists out, I got sedated.”

He continued, “When I woke up again, I was strapped to a bed, injected with many syringes and eventually a weird metal, the pain was unbearable... One day I’d had enough, and escaped the lab. I went across the country killing anyone in my way, until I reached the school, where I collapsed from starvation. I was on death’s doorstep and couldn’t die.”

“That’s how I was found and recruited by the X-Men.” It was a painful story for him to tell, but now he wanted to go to his old classroom. “I’ll be teaching these kids how to fight, I’ll be back.” He left for his classroom, it was empty, dust all over the ring, cobwebs hanging from the walls, it was a shell of it’s former self.

“Gotta get to work.” He started cleaning up the place, taking a break every now and then to work on his moves.

Lily grew even more sad as he continued on but he didn't tell her how he could love and trust a human when it was a human that experimented on him, she wondered what was so good about her. She felt betrayed by her own kind. She did not understand how it was possible to want a human to settle down with. Or as settled down as he would ever get that is, it was incredible.

She knew if it had been her that was experimented on by humans there would be no way she would ever trust a human. Lilith knew not all humans were the same. Just like not all mutants were the same. Both had nice people and assholes. When he told her where they were going she nodded and let him take off. Xavier showed her to a room they could use while she was staying there, she laid down on the bed to stretch she didn't realize she fell asleep.

She was dreaming of the life growing within her but then it turned dark and she was brought back to the room where Logan was screaming. It was enough to wake her and she had sweat pouring down her face and she sighed softly.

Logan was working the heavy bag like a pro, he was able to land seven punches in a combination, and when he stopped, he smirked, saying. “The Champ’s still got it.” He left the classroom and went to Lily, following her by smell.

He opened the door to the room and saw her jolt awake, he asked her “Hey, is everything alright? You just jolted awake...” He went to her and held her tight. He kissed her cheek as he asked her, “Did that vision traumatize you? I’m sorry if it did.”

Looking up at Logan she smiled some standing up she walked up to him giving him a soft kiss on the lips. She wasn't sure what to say or how she was going to say it. She was glad she knew, it made other things fall into place and made her understand why he was the way he was. Lilith could understand why many mutants hated humans, didn't trust humans.

"Your a bigger person then I would be, had I been you I would hate all humans, even though not all humans are the same. I don't understand how the pain alone didn't kill you. But I am grateful to know, explains why you were so cold when we met, but over the years as I grew older you grew softer" she smiled a little more. "You will be a wonderful father Logan, am I to assume the reason I know your past, what the military did to you because one of the children will have your abilities?"
