politicians lie. its what they do. why the fuck are people so surprised by this? that why we elect them because they lie better than the person they are running against. do you honestly believe when a republican says they pray every day and want to make goverment smaller they actually mean it. if they wanted to make government smaller they would quit. same goes for democrats when they say they care about people.

if she did should she go to jail? definitely along with rove, bush, cheney, ice and anyone else that knew on a level of authority.

And beyond. The stuff that is Bush's fault will always be Bush's fault. Well, Cheney's fault, actually.

The Dems inherited the mess. They didn't inherit the blame.

The problem with this theory is, now that he's in the White House, Obama is adopting largely the same positions Bush took.

It's one thing to say that Bush hiked the federal deficit. He did, and it sucks. But to then go out and in ONE YEAR add the same amount to the federal debt that Bush did in the last seven is ludicrous. No rational American (obviously this includes neither the far left or far right) is going to think Obama had no choices to make.

I'm finding it increasingly difficult to look at the military choices Bush made and the ones Obama is making and seeing a substantial difference. Military trials, suspending writ of trial for non citizens (does such a right exist) -- yeah, let's find that single ray of light between the two, if you can. Of course, one chose to fight in Iraq rather than Afghanistan because he wanted to avenge his father. I can see how that makes SO much more difference to the military.

Both seem to have jumped head first into tackling Medicare and Social Security -- oh wait, BOTH parties are too gutless to tackle one of the two or three problems people 30 years from now will curse us for. Yeah, good for them, they kept themselves in office. Hooray.

should individuals be able to own rocket launchers? flame throwers? fully functioning tanks? can bill gates buy an aircraft carrier with working guns and ammo? what about nuclear bombs? they call them nuclear arm? cant i bear those too?


im all for hand guns and rifles. there is no need to own a grenade launcher. which is leagal but here in the state of LA its a $500 tax for the gun and $100 per grenade. so nobody owns them. nor do they have a reason to. how small does your dick have to be to need something like that.
