I currently have a thread where my co-author has disappeared shortly after we got things rolling. We spent a week hashing out the backstory on this, so I hate to see all that preparation go nowhere.

Essentially I am looking for a female writer to step into the position. The original thread concept was hers, which she described as:

My co-author has not returned to the thread in slightly over six months, but I love this character entirely too much to abandon her. I would be seeking a male, and while my preference tends toward dominant personalities, the role is completely open to author preference. Lodger/house guest IM Roleplay

Looking to do a role play on instant messenger (I have both yahoo and MSN) where you play the lodger or house guest. My character will be based on me. I'm 44 years old and have been married for 8 years. I like the idea of cheating and sneaking. I also like the idea of almost getting caught and I'm a sucker for puns and banter/ wit.

Your character can be a lodger such as a student or someone looking for cheap rent. Or a house guest such my husband's friend or relative. Or if you're creative enough to think of someone else. You decide.

need someone to play the man,at first he is rough,callous. has no sympathy to Harmony. Thinks she is a traitor for going to live on the surface. Like a bodyguard type to her grandfather. When the grandfather is murdered he thinks she did it,pursues her into the sea until they both get trapped in an underwater cave. It takes awhile before he believes anything she says,but he does desire her even if he thinks her a killer.

Once he realises she is innocent he has to stay with her to keep her safe until they figure out the real killer and return her to fill in her grandfathers footsteps. Along the line she will learn through stories from your character tht her grandfather really did love her mother and herself.But along this journey will be plenty of others who want her dead.

The Town With No Name is a little burg on a back water county road in the middle of nowhere. Outsiders seldomly come here since the State put in the highway bypass a decade earlier; and outsiders who do come here, sometimes never leave.

There are a lot of possibilities here: coerced sex to rape, imprisonment to run for your life man-hunting, simple robbery and abandonment, or basic consensual love or lust. About anything could happen.
