Looks like they have cleaned it up since the last time i was there @Quimpossibility
Think i need to plan another visit, was rubbish everywhere last time

shame they don't clean up the graffiti really but otherwise looks really good.

i didn't realise it was built in the 19th century (to stop the French, or the pigeons on Steepholm )

yeh i thought that, i do know their are markings from soilders years ago maybe thats why they dont want to clean it

i saw many even some with graffiti over them but you could still see them, mainly in the barracks look if you go there

Thats the same in other places too...soldiers leave behind their own graffiti 'X woz ere'.
