I love all this kind of stuff.

I watched one a while back, large house, still fully furnished. Supposedly some financial issue and they legged it abroad.

In one room there was a grand piano and a high end telescope.

Being an avid stargazer, id have been so tempted to liberate that telescope from decay.

They are fascinating. They should be restored and maintained because they are a part of history.

Good, they are finally renovating the old Victorian pier at Weston near where i live (well 35 miles away)
i agree with what he says and i too hope they do not take away the Victorian character it has,
